I left because I just could not believe the lack of customer service. Two people were at the counter and once I got to the top of the line, the man walked away--even though there was no one behind me! The woman at the counter was helping another customer, but it took more than 20 minutes for her to send two packages. That customer was trying to save money, but the postal worker offered her no advice about how to do that until she had packaged everything up. And so then they had to do it all again. I went to FedEx and was in and out in 6 minutes and everyone was polite and helpful. I truly do not understand rude behavior and bad service at the U.S. Post Office to customers trying to just do normal transactions like mail packages. Why is this acceptable? Why are we treated like 1) were doing something wrong, and 2) like helping us is so difficult and taxing for the people who work there that they can barely manage it without lots of sighing and eye rolling and acting like something unreasonable is being asked of you?

They lost my green card by delivering to the wrong mail box after i pay $450.00 dollars to get it renew the mail man try to get it back from where he deliver it but no where to be found now i have to pay another $450.00 all over again thats not nice of them losing inportant mail like that i wish i can sue them for my $450.00 dollars but can someone give me and a idea how to hold them responsible for my lost?

This works OK if you have UPS or FedEx. They at least give you tracking numbers with an estimated arrival time. UPS just tells you the date and makes you figure it out. Hopefully you are home. Ultimately, no matter what service you use, drivers are known to ring the bell and leave a notice or leave the package. Regardless of whether you paid to a signature requirement or not.

Whoever gave this worthless beach of the USPS anything more than 1 star is out of their minds. Completely incompetent. CONTINUALLY state that items are delivered when they are not. Why? So they can just cut the day early and go home without doing their job. You wonder why they are in financial trouble you dont have to look any further than this. Absolutely abissmal!

Around Christmas time this year and last year my packages were marked out for delivery and they never got delivered. And of course they didnt know what happened. Im still waiting for a call back from last year. So I guess its safe to assume I wont be getting this years call back.

They misplaced one of my packages, putting it into "my" locker while I never owned one! But the lady at the front desk was very helpful. Also the supervisor called me to check if I got my package back. Mistakes happen but they handled the situation and provided great service.

I sent a package from ATL. to my Mom in Jamaica Pln. The package did not arrive to my Mom until 2 months later. I had to go back to the Post Office in ATL. and have them call the Jamaica Pln. office. The package was found under a stack of phone books under a chair.
