Went to a reception here recently. The room was nice, the mirrors under the centerpieces were a nice touch. However, the staff was rude, even gave attitude to the bride telling her SHE needed to tell someone not to take the mirror (they thought it was part of their centerpiece) when they should have been the ones to say so considering no one realized they belonged to the elks. The food was cold by the time they served it, as they hadnt turned the candles on under the trays until 15 minutes before serving. They were rude to people while they were going up to get the food and were generally unpleasent.

Easy to get to from 93N and lots of parking. Ive been attending a graduate class held in a conference room at this location. The staff gave us an electric gas stove to heat the room after we let them know how cold it was inside.

Heard its less expensive with new owners. Forst time I went with new owners, food was very good, but then next two times food was not so good. Very popular for weddings and quinceañeras in Lawrence.

If you have an event and need to rent a place I highly recommend this place not only is the price fair it also comes with a chef that would give you a great price for food.

Beer prices are ridiculous. I was in military uniform for a function and was still charged $5.50 for a bottle of beer.
