Share review Edit review Remove 5/1/2014 I noticed an awful sound coming from my breaks while my husband was out of town. I called him and he said i probably needed new brake pads. I only had few hours free one afternoon, i called the Salem location and they were too busy. When I called this location they told me to come on down, I guess their lack of business should have been a red flag. When i got there they took my tires off and pointed out a whole bunch of stuff that meant nothing to me. They told me that not only did i need new pads on all four wheels, i needed all four rotors replaced! They gave me an estimate for $1000! I called my husband to tell him and he asked to speak to the guy, my car is only 5 years old and the breaks just started making the noise, there was no way that all four rotors needed replacing. After my husband spoke to the guy he told me to get my car out of there, the guy had no idea what he was talking about. When I asked for my car back, They made it seem like my car was so unsafe to drive, they gave me a note stating that I refused service, so that they were not liable when i got in an accident. The next day, I took it to the Hyundai dealership. Not only were all four rotors okay (just needed servicing), the front brakes didnt even need pads! I spent less than $400 and i even got my oil changed. The people at meineke completely tried to take advantage of me because I was a woman who didnt know any better.

If I could post a zero star review I would. I took my car to this place for an oil change. When I came back 3 hours later the oil change still wasnt done. They had called but when I tried to call back repeatedly the phone was either busy or not answered. They then told me I need new front and rear struts which would cost 1000-1500$. As part of the sales pitch I was told my 2009 Camry was dangerous to drive as is. I took the car to my mechanic two days later. He said my struts were fine. In addition to all this their credit card machine was broken so I had to go pay an ATM fee. The only upside of my whole experience was the chicken restaurant across the street.

DO not go here. I should have read the reviews before hand. They did an oil change with out changing the filter. When I asked they said the forgot.
