Real Deal Van lines moved my family last year from Massachusetts to Vermont. The guys were friendly, professional and moved quickly, taking care to carefully wrap and protect all of our belongings. The move went off without a hitch. We needed to move again this past weekend. I contacted a local moving company for the move, had several weird exchanges but thought we were all set. I called to confirm 8 days before our scheduled move and was told they could no longer do it. I called Real Deal Van Lines in a panic, with no real expectation that they would be available to help on such short notice. To my surprise, they were available the exact day I needed and as before, the woman in the office was very professional and helpful. I wished I had just called them again in the first place! Our move this past weekend went much like the first. The guys were very friendly and professional, worked very hard and fast, but again taking great care of our belongings. They also made two stops for us to drop furniture at other locations. Im not hoping to move again anytime soon, but if I do Im definitely calling this company again. Thanks Real Deal!

I looked up movers online and came up with a couple options that seemed to fit the bill. I received two quotes that were very similar. What solidified my choice to use Real Deal Van Lines was Annas approach to options. A family of 6, we were downsizing from a spacious Country home to a small home in the City. The crew that arrived showed a great deal of thoughtfulness both to my family as well as our belongings. I thought they worked efficiently and while the pricing was not "bargain" neither was the work ethic. We moved last week and now about 10 days later I am finally getting to do this review. The great news is that despite having to put a good deal of our furniture into a shed on the property, I have been able to access every item I have gone to the shed looking for. To me that is paramount! I thought it showed great planning and foresight on the part of the crew. That shed is packed to the gills! The first few times I went out there I was expecting the worst and now I thank them every time. I anticipate a move again in the next couple years and I will absolutely call for an estimate. Buyer BEWARE. We had them move our 3 bedroom house. To start, they didnt come with a big enough truck even after coming out to do a quote and clearly seeing all we had. So they had to go unload our stuff at their warehouse and come back to get the rest. We had to pay for all that extra time. They charged us 150% of our quote already upon pickup. When they delivered, they supposedly took their time to fit all our things in one truck. Key words... took their time. They delivered everything and thankfully nothing was broken. When they left, they again charged us WAY OVER our quote. In the end, we actually paid 150% of the total quote. And then, as I unpacked the house, I started to notice things were missing. A book shelf, large cutting mat, vacuum parts a box of tools ... I wonder what else is gone that I dont realize yet. They offered us a refund of under $100. I dont even care about the money at this point. The whole point is that OUR STUFF IS GONE and these people will not admit fault.

Corey, Josh and Brad did an amazing job to get all of my stuff loaded from my old house and unloaded into my new apartment in a very timely fashion. I moved into an apartment with a lot of stairs which I thought would be an issue or come with some additional costs but it was no issue with them and had no added costs at all! I have a very old antique rocking chair that has been in my family for generations and I was hesitant on moving it. Corey assured me he would take extra care of it and theres nothing to worry about and he lived up to his word! It was moved without a scratch and taken well care of. I unfortunately ran into some issues with scheduling a few days before the move and was unable to move on my original date. I called Real Deal and I spoke with Anna, who was extremely understanding! She worked with me to find a new day without a problem. I would definitely use and recommend Real Deal again based on my amazing experience.

This company sent out a belligerent mover to put my belongings on a truck. Not only did he refuse to finish the job, refuse to listen to me when I attempted problem solving, and refuse to make plans with me for moving my piano another day, but he also did a bad job with the rest of my furniture. I would be wary of hiring this company, because my experience has been incredibly stressful. I would also be wary of 5 star reviews here, because it seems possible that family members may pad the reviews. After my mother posted a bad review here on google, someone from this company called and threatened my mother with a frivolous lawsuit and threatened bad reviews in retaliation, although were certain shes never received service from my family. I hate to post bad reviews, because I value small businesses. But everyone deserves to know what theyre paying for.

Real Deal rip off. Three movers and one sat with the truck 90% of the time. One smoked every chance he got. Then it happened, they took a leather couch and slid it down a staircase ripping the back and front of the leather couch between the wall and the stair railing. Then, when I called the office that day a woman answered and said no worries, we have insurance just take pictures and send it in. The drivers were upset that I called and started telling me that I could "youtube" on how to fix leather. When I got a call from the owner "Ian", he said that I lied, he didnt care about my business and told me that my voice was annoying." They are awful and unprofessional. DO NOT EVER USE THEM.

Horrible. Actually shocking. Signed a contract to deliver piano from my sons house to my house on the 2nd floor. Signed a contract. Charged $650.00, but at destination they could not lift the piano on second floor despite knowing the fact. Refused final delivery and refund. When called office service manager Anna was abusive and uncooperative. Its really shocking to me that in this day and age in MA you can still experience that... Also be aware of the positive reviews for them on Google as they do it themselves. They also lie saying that they have no record of moving a reviewer . If they state here they cant find my record I will edit this review and upload the contract.

I cannot tell you how impressed I was with this teams level of professionalism, and attention to detail. This was a complicated move for my family and the crew at real deal made it look easy. Corey, Tim, Jessica, Anna, and Carmello made our experience with real deal van lines nothing less than stellar. Corey and Tim went above and beyond and kept a positive attitude and smile while doing a really tough job. Our stuff was kept safe, nothing broken or lost. I would recommend Real Deal to all of my friends and family I will never move with a different company again. Looking forward to using real deal with a move down to Florida next from MA! Thanks again!!
