First Id like to say the positive. They do have enough equipment, there was never a wait for a machine and for those complaining about the cleaning spray, Geeze, be glad they are cleaning, some people dont. What I am not thrilled about with this gym is the fact that for a "Non Judgment Zone" you make it very uncomfortable. The stretching area is laid out in front of the view of the tread mills, where people have nothing to do but watch you as you stretch, very awkward!!! What pisses me off completely is the billing. I fulfilled my "non contract, commitment" of well over a year. I was unable to go to the gym and yet still paid, as I was supposed to. I sent a letter in requesting that my membership be cancelled and they cancelled it, but not before charging me three days later for the bi yearly fee of $40. Cmon ... seriously guys??? Their excuse, well that goes out 7 days before the billing cycle so it was already set to be charged on the 2nd of June. I was planning on rejoining at a later date and you can believe me when I say over the $40 charge, this will not be happening. Ill join somewhere else! Good business sense would be to refund me the hard earned $40 and keep me as a future customer, rather than screw me out of $40 and never have my business again!!! Having been a business owner... Id definitely want to take care of my customer and not be bad mouthed and lose them!!

I really like this gym, Im surprised it got so many bad reviews! Everything is very clean, I usually go between 4:30 - 6:00 on weekdays, 3-4 times a week and NEVER have to wait for a treadmmill. There are probably 20 treadmills and 20 eliptical machines and very rarely are they all in use. Broken machines are usually fixed within a day or two and theres usually not that many that are broken. It is a bare-bones gym, the weight machines are sometimes busy, but not too bad, and yes, there are no personal TVs on the treadmills, no towel service for the showers, but come on, membership is $10/month with no contract! This is not a luxury gym and I wouldnt expect one for that price. It is a clean, friendly gym with all the bare bones necessary for someone on a budget to stay fit.

Scammers !!! Very bad customer service. I became a member 4 years ago. I moved away 1 month after I opened my membership, and attempted to cancel my membership. They couldnt cancel my membership because I was not in town, said I had to do it in person. Finally, I spoke to some one, and I could request a cancel by mail. I sent a certified letter, telling them to cancel my membership. I just came back to the country, and 3 years later, they have charged 10 dollars per month for all this time. Now, my attorney is working on it, and they will be responsible for all the credit card late fees, and all the money they took from the account. I am glad I sent a certified letter to cancel the account. Scammers !!!

This PF is smaller than the ones I frequent in Texas, but it has just about everything you would need to get a good workout in. While the front desk staff was friendly enough, I was surprised by how they handled the black card spa. When i requested to use the massage chair and beds, they told me both were in use....only for me to walk by and see 3 people lounging on the massage chairs (NOT using them) and just chatting with each other. I decided to wait another 15 mins, before I finally asked the front desk how much longer the wait would be. Thats when he walked over to ask them to get up, and they actually looked annoyed at us that they were being asked to get up.

Tried to cancel over a year ago and for whatever reason it didnt go through. Realized auto payments are still deducting. Called in to cancel since I live hundreds of miles away now, but was told I need to come in person or send a certified letter. I asked for a one month credit ($10) to cover the certified letter - a pretty reasonable ask I would think since they already accepted almost $200 for nothing. Was denied. Very glad Im cancelling, and I will tell all my friends and family to stay away from the terrible customer service this company has to offer.

This Planet Fitness was such a disappointment compared to my last Planet Fitness club. The cardio equipment was limited and each machine didnt have its own TV. The free weight area was almost always crowded so youd have to wait for a bench. Also...I dont recommend becoming a black card member as they charge you a $58 cancellation fee when you do need to cancel. (Ive moved 25 miles away and theres not a club closer and they are charging me. Very annoying.)

* Staff always friendly and helpful. * Facility clean. * Massage beds and chairs and tanning booths are in good order with plenty of availability. This gym is exactly what I wanted at a great price. (I think the ambient music is a bit too loud, especially since nearly everyone wears headphones to listen to his or her own media or to the tv screens provided at the gym. I wish the management would turn it down or off altogether.)

The Planet Fitness in Marlborough is an extremely well-oiled machine...pun intended. The staff is always friendly, the equipment is always fully functional which includes the tanning booths and the massage beds/massage-chairs, and the place is always very clean. As a black-card member, its clearly the best $20 bucks a month I spend. Going forward, It would be nice to see a slight expansion of the free-weight section.

I like this gym. Its nothing elaborate, but its a good size. Its very inexpensive, the staff seems friendly. Ive never had to wait for equipment or the shower (I go in the AM) but it does look like its busy around 5-6PM.

I travel all year long and most locations have level 2,3, or sometimes 4 tanning beds...this one is still using the old low level one booths...this location is overdue for upgrades big time!

If you cant afford a better gym, this is fine. It has showers and plenty of cardio machines. If you need weights, however, look elsewhere. This place has a clear focus on cardio
