My husband brought a van there to get repainted over 3 weeks ago and we were told the job would take about 4 weeks. Over the 3 weeks not much was getting done so my husband offered to help them at night, which I thought was crazy since we are paying them. He helped out two nights and then he thought that they were actually going to really start working on it so he stopped going. Yesterday he went by to see how it was going and the owner (the son) freaked out on him, insulted him personally and called the van a "rust bucket". My husband was questioning why not much had been done yet. He told him to get the van out because he didnt want the job any more after having it for 3 weeks so my husband had no choice and wanted to avoid a fight since the guy seemed unstable. He took it to two other autobody places today and they all said that Best Autobody ruined the van and it would cost almost $10,000 to fix it properly so that it doesnt rust through the new paint job!!!!! Turns out Best Autobody actually did ruin the van because they used the wrong sanding method to remove pinstriping and now it is down to bare metal and rusting. This is not just a few spots, but everywhere the pinstriping was on a large conversion van. We cant afford $10.000 for a paint job for a van that cost us $2000 and was bought just to take weekend trips in. Maaco in South Lawrence is going to help us, but they cant guarantee against rusting and everybody at the autobody places my husband went to today said we should sue. What a joke this company is, I wrote this review to try and save others from going through the nightmare we are going through now.

I take my Corvette and my Honda here for service. Mike is awesome and knows his stuff, very friendly and professional. If youre looking for a top notch and honest repair shop that wont rip you off, this is the place.
