If I could give zero stars I would. This company does not want new business. I went online to reserve a unit. Easy to do. I was excited until I called the facility at 5:20 to let them know I was coming down so they could be ready for me when I got there. I am 15 minutes away. I was informed by Diane the manager that they close at 6 PM and to not come today because she would not stay after 6 PM because she does not get paid to do that. Really makes you feel good about putting your valuables in a storage facility. After I told her they should change their hours on their site and asked if there was anyway I could come in to get the unit she asked me if I would walk into a grocery store at 5 minutes until closing and expect to be able to buy something. My answer, "YES I would." Pretty clear, this company does not want new business and I would assume from this experience that they do not move and inch to take care of their existing customers.

I have almost all positive things to say about this place. I originally chose this in particular because it was the best price in the area. I was actually equidistant to the one in Hudson and the Northborough one is cheaper just because its outside (barely) of 495. Its right on Route 20 on the Marlborough/Northborough line and is convenient if youre near that stretch. The staff seemed very dedicated and helped me explore my options, and I found this helpful. They were also friendly. Since signing up I never really needed them for anything, but Ive had no problems either. The walkways always seem to be fairly clean and decently light, the lights come on when you walk by and it does the job. My only complaint is that my price went up and Im not sure why. I dont remember getting a notice or anything, but I may have misplaced it or something. Other than that Ive had no issues. Id recommend this to anyone!

I rented a unit, and the place is great! The units are clean, well-lit and safe. However, the staff is quite frustrating. The night I rented a unit, I informed the assistant manager I was going to grab things and Id be back to load in l...(tharr be more)ater that evening. After loading up my car to capacity, unloading it into the building, I found that they had not even removed their locks. Once I was ready to move out, I informed the office, since I was told you can get a pro-rated rent if you move out early. I was told that I was too late and they were unable to pro-rate me the 3 weeks I wasnt going to use. For $80, they are willing to throw away customers and are unwilling to accomodate customers when their employees do not share all the information needed. Its a great place to use if only they could replace the workers.

This facility is exceptionally clean, secure, and easily accessible to space renters. What I appreciated most, however, is the staff at this location. We coordinated a cross-country move and having someone reliable on the other end of the reservation was a tremendous help. Diane K, the store manager, was fantastic. She went above and beyond to help us identify what size space we needed and helped us organize our time line for delivery of items. During our first conversation on the telephone she asked, "What can I do to make your move easier?" At that point, I knew I was in good hands and from that point forward she never let us down. This isnt the first storage unit weve rented, but its by far the best. I highly recommend this facility.

I needed a facility to store furniture and clothing for my mom. I looked around and choose Extra Space Storage in Northboro. I was very impressed with the manager Sheila, she answered all my questions and was very helpful. The storage is easy to get to, easy access to the units, very well lit and maintained, and I feel safe no matter what time I go. Its also a good place to buy moving boxes and has everything you might need. When I recently realized I had to move more stuff, Sheila took the time and helped me choose the right number of boxes I needed. I highly recommend this storage facility. Just ask for Sheila, shell help you out and put a smile on your face.

Sheila at Extra Space Storage in Northborough was so helpful! I needed a large storage unit after quickly selling a Townhome. Sheila was able to give me a unit big enough to accommodate all my belongings. The units were clean, there were no bad odors and I felt very safe when I occasionally had to go into my unit. I was even able to buy boxes and tape. My movers had no trouble parking the large moving van and were able to back up close to the entrance. Their hours were very convenient, whether I needed to get into my unit late at night, or very early on a weekend morning. I definitely recommend Extra Space Storage in Northborough.

The lady inside at her desk was very welcoming and knew exactly what I needed for a reasonable price. She had humor and didnt just make you feel like a customer, she made me feel like I had known her fro years and we were just having a normal conversation. As we proceeded to the steps of signing the lease for the storage unit, she was very clear and informative about the company policies. Her hours of operations are great and I have access to my storage unit until 10:00pm. This is fabulous for me and my husband. I highly recommend Extra Space Storage to anyone - even if you are mant miles away. Thank you, so much!

My family and I have used Extra Space Storage in Northboro for over 5 years. We started with a smaller unit and then upgraded to the larger unit. The staff was wonderful with helping us choose our original unit and then helping us with the upgrade. I feel very secure in leaving my items here that I just cant store in my house. There are cameras everywhere and you can have multiple locks on your storage unit. Also there is a code to get in. Anytime Ive had a question, I contact them and they have always been very helpful. If you are looking for a great place to store your stuff, look no further.

Sheila Brust, the senior store manager of the Northborough office, is an asset to Extra Space Storage Inc. She has a great sense of humor and provides excellent customer service. After three years of renting a 5 x 10 unit, we wanted to obtain a bigger unit because we were in the process of putting our house on the market. Sheila helped us identify the correct size for our needs, discussed the procedures for the move out (timing, notification, etc.) and provided excellent directions to friends that helped us during the move.

Ive rented with Extra Space in Northborough for over 2 years. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The building is in excellent condition and kept immaculately clean. It is truly climate controlled---no humidity and everything remains dry. All my stored items remain in the same condition as the day I moved them in. Theyre a little more than others, but, in this case, you get what you pay for. Exceptional facility and company.
