****BEFORE SIGNING WITH PUBLIC STORAGE**** BEWARE: Public storage misleads costumers to believe they will pay a certain amount per month. However, the contract allows them to increase the price as early as a month into your contract. Despite the fact that all communication with them regarding payments is done via email and online, they inform you about the increase (as required in the contract), by sending a tiny postcard, designed perfectly to get lost in the mail, or be easily mistaken as an unwanted advertisement. This particular brach has had recurring issues with elevators breaking down, preventing us from reaching out unit. The manager, who is NEVER available since he is in charge of multiple branches, has never returned our calls or messages. A classic example of a inept and greedy corporation.

Weekend manager is rude and tried to blame me for their failure to contact me. Who blames the customer? A bad manager, thats who. Also, apparently you need to schedule an appointment to move in to a locker. Nowhere in either of the confirmation emails I received did it say anything about needing to make an appointment. I was so offended by the managers lack of customer service skills that I decided to cancel my reservation. Sorry Public Storage, but you are definitely not the only game in town. On the plus side the facility is clean and the rest of the staff was very friendly. Maybe if they get a new manager Ill consider storing my stuff there. But until then, no thank you.

I made a reservation online and when I arrived in the store I was told, "we will hold the storage for you for seven days but we are first come first service so someone may take your storage tomorrow." It this called a hold? --H-; besides, the price they try to charge me was 30+ higher from the online price and again you are "forced" to buy a lock at $20+ and a paper work costs you $20+. You can tell me when I check the price online for that but I will no long be happy with those additional fees like taking my money away slowly. In all, a well online advertised place but lack of keeping that in a real way. Plus I received a huge among of phone calls from them during working time...

I will be needing storage soon so I stopped by this morning to ask some questions and see how it works. The 2 guys there were busy with other customers but they took the time to say hi to me and told me they will be with me as soon as possible. Nick answered all my questions and went over the prices, then Jason took me into the building to show me some spaces and explained how the gates work. I was shocked with how clean the place was and will feel safe keeping my stuff there. I normally dont do reviews but I wanted to after stopping by. Nick and Jason went above and beyond for me and I will definitely be back to get a space in a couple of weeks.

My family and I are currently renting four units at this location. The facility is kept clean, well lit, a comfortable temperature, and staff are always professional and polite. When I rented my most recent unit, Rashida was managing the facility. She was the most professional, most personable, and most efficient of any storage facility staff I have ever encountered. She processed the contract quickly, but was very thorough in going through every aspect of the contract and negotiated the best price available at the time. I highly recommend this facility for your personal storage needs.

JUST HAD THE MOST HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH THIS PLACE. Never had such a horrible costumer service experience in my life. The guy at the front desk didnt even want to tell me his name. After being completely unhelpful and rude he started smiling in my face and informing me i need to wait 3 hours (while movers are sitting in the truck) until i can fill out the paperwork!!! Another costumer service rep Brenda offered to help me but the guy kept telling her not to help me. Brenda stepped in and completed everything in 15 minutes. She kept apologizing for her colleague over and over again.

I had a 5x5 locker here for years. They went up on rent a few times, but not since it came under new management, and of course your first months isnt really $1, as you have insurance chargers and other fees, so I feel like thats kind of misleading. But other than those minor gripes, it was fine; even after the rent went up, its not much more expensive than the same-sized locker would be out in the burbs. Gate hours were reasonable, I had access to my things whenever I needed, and nothing was ever lost, damaged, or stolen during the time I rented the locker.

Nov 25, 2013 - This facility has gone down hill over the past 6 months. I had a unit here for about a year and I was very pleased the first few months. It was well maintained and was clean. Now, as of Nov. 2013, when you walk through the front doors, you are hit in the face by a musty smell. The 2 restrooms are not kept up. Last weekend, BOTH toilets were clogged. Also, there are 2 elevators, and youre lucky if one is working. During Oct 2013/Nov 2013 both elevators were broken several weekends in a row.

This place is a joke. I got hit with tons of hidden unexpected fees, and the people who work in the office apparently just take off whenever they want. I took time off work to do some moving and purchasing packing supplies during their business hours and nobody was even in the office, and I waited fifteen minutes and called the buzzer three times. They clearly dont care about the time or money of their customers. Incredibly disappointed - would recommend literally any other storage place besides this one.

I have never used a storage facility, but the public storage in Brighton was awesome! Very clean facilities, which is really a big plus for me. Security seemed very good. I worked with Katie and she was very helpful and knowledgeable. I saw Breanna doing a great job in the background and working well together with Katie. (Shout out to you Breanna! I noticed the work you were doing). If you have storage needs, this is the place to go. Not sure how the prices compare, but, overall I had a great experience.

Moving sucks. Storage is dull. Kristin and Amy, however made the tedious process enjoyable with their bright personalities and efficient service. I had such a great experience securing a storage space with Kristin that I recommended Public Storage to my roommate and brought him in the next day; this time Amy helped with an equally balanced act of professionalism and personality. These girls give the tedium of moving/storage a refreshing sense of humanity while taking care of business without delay.

My brother and I run a small business, and we recently hit a few hiccups with our staff. We rented this storage space to secure our inventory, and we couldnt be happier with the service. The facility is clean and comfortable. My brother wasnt in the best of moods when renting the space, but Nick was easygoing and understanding throughout the proceedings. Definitely made the whole ordeal a little more bearable.

Nice Modern units. Professional, friendly, no-nonsense staff. Hassle free sign up online. Straightforward check-in upon arrival. Easy auto pay options. Easily accessible location from Cambridge Street in Allston or Lincoln Street in Brighton. Great place to store your stuff if you live in Boston. The facility is secure. Only complaint is they could use a couple more push carts for easy moving.
