Extraspace was very accommodating in finding me exactly the right size/type of space and making it easy for me to sign-up. Facility is well maintained, management is friendly and very helpful, price is very competitive. Certainly the best experience Ive had with a storage company. 2017 Update: Extraspace continues to do an excellent job of providing me with the storage needs I require. Highly recommended. (Update - Spring 2017) caterpillars (Gypsy Moths) devour the Oak trees along the front edge of the property. During this process they drop enormous amounts of caterpillar poop onto vehicles parked in the open spots. When it rains, this layer of poop turns to ultra-slick poo-mud. Yuck. While I really like the management and the location, I dont know if I can stand having my vehicle (and shoes) covered in inspect poop another year. Its too bad because the fellow that manages this particular location is really good (professional, courteous, prompt, responsive).

Just wanted to share my experience today with Gary the new manager. Last year I had a problem with my trailer being plowed in and thus resulting in a very hard time in terms of getting my trailer out. The old manager moved me to a new spot this year. Guess what? I was plowed in again. I called and left a message of my dissatisfaction. Gary immediately called me back. No excuses just simple resolution, he moved me to a spot that will not ever be plowed in and I am very grateful for Garys professionalism and concern for me. What a great experience, a true pro and a very respectable person. Gary you give me new hope! Thank you for caring and taking the time to understand my situation. Have been using Extra Space in Hudson for going on 3 years now, since I sold my house and downsized. Had checked out several storage facilities before choosing this one, and found it convenient, clean, and easy to use. I am still happy with the facility, and the new manager has been especially diligent with communication. I put my padlock on incorrectly before the holidays and he called me to let me know, which was appreciated. He has helped with something else recently also. I may need to get a smaller unit and do away with some more of my things, however, if the rates continue to go up. Would be giving 5 stars if it werent for the rate increases, but other aspects get 5 stars! Cynthia

Sign up was a breeze ,the service was great ,I only had lunch break to sign up . My unit I love it ,everything fits as expected .I was a little worried about water coming in but its rained several times already and my unit has remained dry .The price seems a little higher than I expected but its worth not having to walk through a building to get to your vehicle like other storage places have ,no long corridors etc you just drive up ,that is a big plus to me .I also like the fact that its gated and secure Everyone I have spoken to which has been four people so far ,has been pleasant as well as professional and that alone goes a long way for me .I am very happy .

I store my childrens life at the Extra Space Storage in Hudson, Ma. The onsite manager, Frank, is always very courteous, attentive and tries hard to keep the property in tip top shape. I had a situation where I was late on my pymts and Frank was very calm under pressure. VERY CALM. He was able to help me navigate to the correct person to speak to in Northboro to resolve the issue and get me back into my storage unit without to much of a headache! He is also really good with my chihuahua! This is the 2nd time Ive used Extra Space in Hudson and would recommend it to anyone who needs a safe place to store their belongs.

Great professional company. Would recommend to anyone looking for storage in the area. The manager and staff are genuinely helpful and friendly. Not a 24hr access facility and I got stuck behind the gate! Manager was disgruntled that I needed him to open it to get my car out. Nickled and dimed me when I went to move out. Paid for the full month but was only 2 days into the month when I moved out. Asked if they could do any sort of pro rating and they gave me the typical corporate non sense that we have all heard out of big companies.

I had the pleasure of setting everything up and speaking to Andrew, and he was exceptional! Always courteous, very vibrant, always full of positive energy and very informative. Definitely glad I picked this place to keep my belongings, the facility is very well kept, and the staff is more than accommodating! He even would call and remind me when my payment was due so I wouldnt be charged the extra fee. Theres tons of variety for units, very accessible, but safe and secure.

We need to sell our house and looking for a storage place to store furniture and other unused items. we looked at several storage places and we feel that Extra Space in Hudson is very well maintained and very clean. It is also very easy access to your unit and you can just drive your car in front your door. Andrew is very friendly, and helpful. will definitely recommend it to other friends who need storage place.

I needed extra space! I read online and was happy with the previous reviews, so I stopped in! I was served promptly and courtesly. I was shown 2 units and they would have shown me more, but I was satisfied. They thoroughly explained the price, insurance costs and up front costs. We went over the contract and I was putting stuff in my new unit within 20 minutes!! Thank you extra space storage!!!

Manager Gary Scholefield is friendly, helpful, very knowledgeable about the business. Im glad I stopped by in person because he showed me different size units and gave me excellent advice on both storage units and the packing products available to purchase on site. Product quality is very good; pricing is very reasonable. I highly recommend doing business with Gary at this location in Hudson.

I feel like my stuff is safe here, but they didnt ever tell me that the rate will increase every 3-4 months when you sign up based on their "research" of going rates in the area. I went as far as to compare the price to multiple other local options, all were much less and when I brought this to their attention they said there was nothing they could do, and said to move if I was unhappy.

Yes - you pay for it - BUT - the peace of mind I get knowing that my stored belongings will be EXACTLY as I left them is so worth it. The facility is managed by really nice people who are available IF I need anything and the location of my storage unit is so convenient. I am and have been pleased with my choice - and its is going on 7 years now. Well done, Sheila and her team!

Great location and great service, i went there looking for a unit and adrew who was the person working at the time took a walk to show me the unit, at first i was not sure if i really wanted that size or something bigger, so he showed me a bigger one talked about price and was able to give me a really nice deal at the end. 5 stars for costumer service, 5 start for the location.
