I have to disagree with the rater who had a negative experience here. Ive been shipping packages at least once a week here for the past year, and I think that the counter staff is unbelievably friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They can always answer my (many) questions about what I can and cant ship to my husband in Afghanistan. They know me when I walk in and want to know where the baby is when my son isnt with me, how my husband is doing, or why I wasnt in last week. I even once received a phone call from them asking if I needed help with the online postage system - they were concerned because I had shipped a package with 20-something stamps on it! (Actually, I was out of printer ink to print the postage and just happened to have 20-something stamps. But it was nice that they called to check!) I enjoy going there. Yes, to the post office. I think that says a lot!

These are the rudest people I have ever seen! They seem bitter that they have to go to work everyday and help other people. They argue with each other and with customers and they think because they work in a federal building that they dont need to provide CUSTOMER SERVICE. well guess what my taxes supply your job and I think it would just be better for everyone to use Fedex or staples until these lame brains can get that through their rude heads.

To the positive reviewer, I am glad to hear that someone is being treated well, but you should know that this is far from the case for most of us. Not only are most of the counter staff rude and unprofessional but slow as well. I have to plan for 30min of waiting if there is even two other in line. I never understand what takes do long. Anyways sorry to say the first poster is right.

umm..the US Postal Service doesnt use a penny of tax dollars. Your tax money does not go to paying their salary.
