The Dover post office has a carrier that acts like a total lunatic. He has almost run me down with his truck several times, while Ive been pushing a double stroller with my 1-year-old and 3-year-old inside. Ive watched him blow through stop signs too many times to count. Today I saw him throw a package containing a projector I ordered on Amazon onto my doorstep from chest height. Every day he barrels his truck through the parking lot of my apartment complex going at least 30 miles per hour, when the speed limit is 5. Ive called the office to complain numerous times, and my wife sent a letter to the Postmaster General, to no avail. Everyone complains about this madman, but nobody seems to be able to do anything about it. Shame on you, Dover USPS, for continuing to let the city be at the mercy of this inconsiderate, dangerous person.

Trying to figure out how a package from Rochester to Dover gets lost. I had my wedding guest book shipped first class, was tracking it, and it never was received on the day it was supposed to get there. I went to the post office just making sure I wasnt supposed to pick it up and I was treated very well. They apologized and said the supervisor would call me because they could not find my package. I was floored to find out the customer service when I called the next day, when Linda answered the phone and a) asked if the person I spoke to yesterday had dark hair or no hair (like it matters), and b) that she didnt have any clue where my package was. I asked if she could look, and she said no. I would have to call back tomorrow. Being a nurse, I know patience very well as well as customer service. Truly disappointed.

Horrible customer service. This morning (5/12/2017) I purchased a stamp from the self-service machine in the Dover NH Post Office lobby but the stamp got stuck in the machine. I spoke with 2 employees, who told me the postmaster was "too busy" on his computer to come out and help me. The postmaster also refused to give the keys to another employee to open the machine and retrieve my stamp. I waited for 30+ minutes but needed to leave because I was late for work. I did not get the stamp I purchased because the postmaster refused to assist me. His behavior, by way of his absence, was extremely unprofessional and shameful. By the way, the Dover Post Office needs to fix their stamp machine so customers do not have to bother the overworked postmaster.

This post office doesnt even deserve the one star. Marty, the desk clerk is avid to waste time and shows no initiative to cut the customer line down by working more efficiently. No customer is willing to stand there with a one-sided conversation by this person on a weekday morning, especially between the hrs of 8-10. Everyone in the line with me were fidgeting and watching the clock because we were all going to be late, even after waiting in line over 30 min for service. Most people work 9-5 and this location is open 8-5. Absolutely no consideration for customers time.

I visit the post office at least once a month, and Im always happy to see Marty and chat with him. All the clerks are incredibly sweet and great at their jobs. One time I went to pick up a letter that needed to be signed for, and at first they couldnt find it because it had been addressed to my boyfriends old address. The manager personally went to look for it and updated me at every juncture, while the clerks busily took care of the other customers to make sure I wasnt holding up the line. The letter was found, and I walked out with a smile on my face.

Went to ship a package and get my passport. The staff (3 males) seemed incredibly friendly and cordial. They were having a good time joking with each other and customers while getting people moved through as quick as possible. They still took the time to explain everything very well. I have to say after living in several areas this has consistently been one of the cheeriest post offices I have been to, and even with long longs things tend to move pretty quick,

Hope went out of her way to hunt down a package that was missing, one that I was due to receive 5 days ago. Not only did she personally call me the following day to give me an update, my package was delivered less than 24 hours after we initially spoke. She is amazing and I hope Hope receives the recognition she deserves. 5 Star Customer Service. Also, Wendy is the best mail carrier this side of the Cocheco.

Linda is the worst. I have on so many occasions had the misfortune of speaking with her. She can never resolve my issues, never calls me back when she says, and always gives me attitude. On more than one occasion she has battled me about being wrong only to back track and admit her fault. Seriously hate going to the post office and dealing with the incompetence.

I had a package overnighted. It was suppose to be deliver the next day by 3pm. The package never made it the location b/c the post office decided to take it upon themselves to hold the mail for pick up bc my company normally picks up the mail twice a day. It has now been 4 days and my package was never handed over to the LM person to take.
