We were first time home buyers and now, thanks to Kristen Meleedy of Lamacchia Realty, we are first time home owners. Kristen started with us in the middle of a snowstorm during the month of February here in Massachusetts 2014. Anyone who lives here can tell you that it was a terrible winter, but she was amazing. Arriving just ahead of the storm, answering our questions and providing us with as much information as we desired. Within a week we were attending Open Houses and seeing homes that fit in with our initial “Must-haves and Want lists.” We quickly realized that our must-haves needed to change and Kristen found us home after home to fit the bill. She helped us get through the process of putting our first offer in on a home. She met us promptly at each location and even become one of our 2 year-old son’s favorite people to see. We felt very well looked after and cared for under Kristen’s tutelage. She was a guide and a partner in our adventure. When we found our eventual home, she worked even harder; ensuring that our needs were met, our concerns assuaged, our questions answered. She provided us with innumerable contacts and nuggets of advice to keep us rooted and moving forward. She was, in a word, impeccable. Someday, if we sell, and if Kristen is still working. We will find her, and list with her wherever she may be. She made a daunting, frightening, and difficult experience exhilarating, relaxing, and simple. Absolutely the experience that I needed when buying my first home and I know that she will do the same for anyone because that is simply the kind of Realtor and person that she is. My girlfriend and I just purchased are a very first home, a condo in Somerville. We were referred to Lamacchia Reality and we couldn’t be happier with the level of service we received. Anthony reached out to me personally after I sent in an inquiry and he set me up with Darlene Umina who represented us as our Buyer’s Agent. We were a bit nervous heading into the home buying process as we had no previous experience, it didn’t even seem realist. However, from day one my girlfriend and I felt 100% comfortable working with Darlene. She walked us through the entire home buying process and details regarding Buyers Agent. She was extremely nice, upfront, and honest. Darlene made herself available literally 24/7 and scheduled showings whenever/wherever we desired. Darlene always had our best interest in mind and would always give her most honest answer to my never ending questions and concerns. She helped negotiate the best price for our place. Anytime I had an issue with our mortgage provider, attorney, or the seller, Darlene would hop right on it and get it taken care of ASAP. She is amazing, and as first time home buyers it was important for us to have a retailer that made us feel comfortable. McGeough Lamacchia Realty Inc. is a top shelf company in my book. I recently sold a property in Watertown. This was an estate property left to my brother and I by our mom and dad so needless to say we are not well versed in the real estate field at all. I feel they listed our property in the perfect price range with comparison properties that had recently sold in the neighborhood and surrounding communities. We were under agreement with our property after the first weekend of showings and it sold for above asking price. As I mentioned above we were total greenhorns in selling real estate but our listing agent Krissy Axon lead us through the process without incident. She took the time to understand the personal side of of our estate sale. She quickly learned when it was appropriate to email, text or call us, she knew when we needed a gentile push to keep the process moving. When my dad died I had plenty of opportunity to sell this property on my own and looking back now I cant imagine going through this process without out the team from ML Realty. This is one first class operation from the receptionist that answered my first phone call to Krissy sending me the closeout documents after the sale and everyone in between.

McGeough Lamacchia Realty, Inc. provided absolutely amazing, accurate, friendly and professional service throughout my short sale. Every member of their staff including the owners and external partners they work with are extremely proficient in these types of real-estate negotiations and beyond! Selling my property was a tremendous challenge with multiple hurdles that would normally cause a deal to crumble. They faced each challenge head on and knocked down any and all barriers to our goal of selling the property. I recently moved to MA from CA and trying to find a new home from 3,000 miles away was tough. I found an apartment listing online and clicked the link to "send me more information". Kristen got back to me first thing the next morning to provide me with information about the property and kept in touch with me as we worked through different ways for me to see the apartment. I had a friend go to the open house in place of my and we did a virtual tour, and I fell in love. Kristen got me the paperwork right away and made it so easy for us to secure our new home from across the country. THEN she blew me away by going the extra mile to message me to make sure we had arrived safely and to see if there was anything else we needed.
