After calling CKSMITH because of heat turning off sporadically and inexplicably, the Phone Representative was empathetic and directed us quickly to a technician. The Technician (JIM) called us within ten minutes and arrived within half an hour, very impressive considering how many maintenance/utility companies take all day, and remarkable considering how it was the first zero day of the season, WPS closed it was so cold and CKSMITH was probably handling a lot of calls as a result. The Technician was very professional, efficient and effective. He identified and solved our problem rapidly, and even explained it enough to me to have some understanding of it. Every time they come by Im empowered to learn a little more about my heating system, which puts me more at ease in the cold weather. Jim went above and beyond by helping us shut off our outdoor faucet so it wouldnt freeze, which we were worried about. Hes also very friendly and great with our excitable dog who also loved him. I highly recommend this company. Would give six stars if I could.

Good afternoon, I have nothing but good things to say about ckSmith and their service. I have been with ckSmith Superior for over two years. They were my first and only contractors to service my family with heat and oil. And although I have no other company to compare their service to, I did research a few other companies prior to and Im very pleased and do not regret having chosen ckSmith as our provider. As a first-time home owner you can imagine how nervous I might have been with all the first-time doings of a new home, but this company has done everything they said they were set out to do for us and I have no complaints. Additionally, communication is important to me and they have very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional people on board. I wish I found you guys when I first moved here! Your customer service is second to none! From the technician that serviced our unit - the best Ive ever seen and I watch then do each and every service, this was our first year with CKSmitth was the very best! The other guys missed things and simply did an average job, your technician clearly cared more and his work reflected that caring professionalism. Now we no longer smell exhaust fumes in our basement, a first in four years. When a problem arouse, you responded way faster than I expected and everything your technician did exceeded my expectations! Our recent experience with our service was fine and the 1st service guy set expectations that there were a few variables to work out. The 1st guy came and we had a water release valve that was leaking so he replaced it but told us that with water issues, it can be tricky and is sometimes a process of elimination. The 2nd guy came and re-pressurized a bladder and shut of the water into the boiler and told me to re-open the valve after a few days and if it leaked then, then we need the valve regulating the intake of water into the boiler replaced. After re-opening the valve, the leak re-appeared and the final valve was replaced. Although it took 3 service visits, each service tech was friendly and courteous and explained things to me.

Happy New Year!! We are delighted to be customers of CKSmith/Superior!! Weve been with Superior the longest ( since the early 90s?) and have ALWAYS been pleased with customer service and rates. One thing we would like to mention, as homeowners we struggle from time to time with paying our bills. We are on a very tight budget, Susan is disabled and we have had to make Superior Oil wait for our payment. We have paid in increments at times and we were never made to felt "less than"!! Any time we placed a call to arrange for our payment, we always have an understanding person and listening ear!! To us, this means more than you can know!!! Keep up the great work! Thank you! Ed was great . My Fujitsu mini-splits havent worked right since the initial install. They would cool the rooms only marginally and would not pull any water from the air, leaving the rooms cool and damp and generally uncomfortable. Ive had someone come to service the system every year for 3 yrs, never with any improvement. This year Ed came to service the system and finally narrowed down the problem. The system was overcharged by almost double the amount of Freon it should have had! Once evacuated and the proper charge was installed, the units worked like they are supposed to. Thanks, Ed!

I originally had called to complain about the pricing, when I shopped around I noted that ckSmith was at a higher price per gallon rate than other providers. The woman I spoke with not only took the time to explain what additional services were being supplied: larger on call repair staff, and inventory of oil that surpassed other providers to name a few. She also explained the prompt pay discount which made the price even more competitive. She then took the time to follow up the next week to see if I had any further questions. Well worth the small price differential- I remain a customer.

Just bought a new house and needed a new oil company. I selected CK Smith because of the reviews and their services. I was immediately impressed with their responsive sales and customer service departments; they worked quickly and efficiently to answer my questions, check my system, and explain the various options. They had oil delivered within 24 hours of me committing to go with them. They said what they were going to do, and they did what they said they would. I have had them now for a few months and have been very happy with the deliver timing and service.

An additional box labeled "Not Applicable" needs to be added to each line item in the survey. Since it does not exist I selected "No" or "Unsatisfactory", just to get your attention. I had no communications with a Phone Rep, therefore I would have selected "Not Applicable". It is too early to judge the quality of the Technicians work - "Not Applicable" again. I dont know if I would recommend you if I cant judge the quality of work yet - "Not Applicable" again. My only negative comment is that the Technician was 2 hours and 11 minutes late for my appointment.

I used this company for a year as part of the discount Mass Energy plan. The customer service was consistently poor. No one at the company talks to other departments to communicate needed information. They are big, but appear to have outgrown their internal systems. The only reason I did not give one star is their actual automatic oil delivery was fine, its just the hassle of setting up and heaven forbid if you need to resolve something- it wont happen. Recommend stay away, there are far easier companies to deal with that also have better pricing.

After buying my new home in Sept 2015 I needed to sign on with an oil company. Upon researching I found CK Smith Superior to be top rated and now know why. They were quick to get us set up with an account, the gentleman who set it up for us took the time to explain all the services and what we could expect, our first delivery was quick as we needed it to be, and their price cant be beat! I also like that we can manage our account online as well. They make everything as easy for their customers as they can, great company, highly recommend.
