I would give a minus 1 if I could. The 2 girls at the counter were swarmed with customers only to have the "supervisor" Come out to "help". He took care of 3 people and went back. He was then paged by one of the girls at the front desk. Supervisor never showed. The girl at the front desk asked a gentleman in line to call her supervisor and tell him he was in line waiting for him. In the meantime 20 mins later I have my envelope (taxes) ready to mail. I pay for my postage and go on my way. Now here it is tax day and Ive heard nothing. Mind you I sent it in on 4/6 with arrival on 4/7.....I call my accountant and she has NOT received my package. Guess what???? Brighton lost my taxes. Scanned out of Brighton on 4/7 and its STILL in transit to Westland.......Ive since called Brighton 3 times with NO answer......

I visited the Brighton Post Office today and an employee went above and beyond to help with my package. On at least three other occasions I have found the employees at the Brighton Post Office to be extremely helpful and friendly. On these occasions when I had questions with deliveries or needed help retrieving a package, the employee that I was dealing with at the time was always willing to look into my concern. Furthermore they offered their help, if needed, for future transactions and I never got the feeling that they were bothered by my requests and questions. I am pleased with the services provided when I visit the Brighton Post Office and I hope that these employees are recognized for the customer service they provide.

We decided to start going to the brighton post office since the howell location does not have a drop-off area and we dont have time to wait an hour in line to drop off mail that is already paid for. We love that the Brighton location actually has a drop-off area so you dont have to wait in line. The only issue is that for some reason it is always locked when we go!! It defeats the whole purpose of the convenient drop-off area. I go on my way into work or on break and I dont have time to wait in line to drop-off mail that is already paid for. I feel like I should not have to keep asking the staff to unlock the drop-off door.

I believe that we dont get OUR mail.. we havent been getting our STUFF. I had two dvds from Amazon i live in a apartment and have mail boxs. She put our mail and my dvds on a table outside the mail office and yup u guessed it my dvds got tooken by someone. Horrible experience. There was no reason why it couldnt hav been placed in my mail box. In the past Ive never had a problem with my dvds. Theres even a mailbox locker on our mailbox for big items,that was NOT being USED at that time. Why would u just leave all our mail outside on a table meant FOR relaxing with.. (beer,cigs,wine,ect..)...

This post office is my hometown post office and I am very fortunate for that. I needed to mail my wedding invites out and requested them to be hand cancelled which I thought may be and odd request. However, the kind gentleman at the counter was very pleasant and gladly took care of this for me and congratulated me on my wedding. I also made an error on a couple of invites and without even asking this same gentleman took care of the situation and said he understood the importance of these invites! Great customer service that was above and beyond! Thank you!!

Lazy. Doesnt want to look for my PKG because its on a pallet. Wth. UPS delivered it across country then at last min transferred it to the USPS...I paid for UaPS because I didnt want USPS to deliver it. Anyways according to tracking Its HERE! NOT ON THE TRUCK. Im not dumb, it will say OUT FOR DELIVERY if its on the truck. ITS NIT SO DONT YELL ME IT IS. Clerk didnt want to look for it because she said its on a pallet. Not my first crappy rodeo w/ this PO. Shed never make it in the A2 PO.

Horrible - they never answer phone, just rings and hangs up on your (phone should NEVER hang up on someone...unacceptable). Post master never returns calls or emails. Mail skipped delivery 3 days in one week because carrier ran out of time...it got dark too early so they just did not deliver 3 days in one week...guess you better start route earlier then! Unimpressed with lack of service and response from this location.

Whats the point of a Dropbox if the thing is always locked? I drop off packages 3 or more times a week. Half the time it is locked and when I ask someone about it they keep pointing me to people who are not there. The only leg this place has to stand on is that it is slightly less unorganized then the others in Livingston county. I would say dont go here but its not like you have a choice.

I received my absentee ballot for the August 2, 2016 primary election on September 26, 2016. Per your postmark, it took 3 months and 3 days to travel 5 miles as it was marked June 23, 2016. I spent 20 minutes on the phone trying every choice on your ridiculous voicemail, there is not any choice to speak with someone about a problem that is not covered in your menu. UNACCEPTABLE!!!!

For the 10th time now the mailman refuses to drop my package off at the door. They are too lazy to get out of their mail truck, and prefer to lie that nobody was home. I have waited all day for packages only to see that the tracking was marked as nobody home. This is the worst post office Ive ever seen. I feel so helpless dealing with them as they just stick it to me every time.

service sucks.... more missing packages ..... phone always busy... must have it off the hook... get other peoples mail.... that dont even live on the same street... no wonder I dont get my stuff.... drivers are in too big a hurry to get their runs over to do the job right. I highly recomend a PO box to a different town... thats what Im planning on doing.

I had my mail forwarded from this post office almost 2 months ago and I have yet to receive anything. I keep getting emails saying that it will come to my new PO Box address soon. Im furious that weeks of mail is floating around. PLUS No one answers the phone !

There is no consistent time when they deliver mail. Its sometimes at 10a and sometimes as late as 6pm. I live in an apt and unfortunately the office is closed by then so whenever I order something from amazon I get it 4 days later. Worst postal service

I havent been getting some of my bills so I call to let them know for the past 3 months this has happening and I got hung up on over 10 times before the operator answered and transfered my call. After that my service was alright.

About the 10th time Ive had a priority mail parcel not delivered because the receptacle was blocked, yet I got my other mail that day. The service at the Brighton post office is atrocious.

Every time I go here, Im greeted by friendly staff and fast service. I love the self-serve kiosk in the lobby and am very impressed with the cleanliness of the facility.
