Please note that all times listed below are approximate. It is the interval between times listed that is most important. We were home ALL Day waiting for FedEx to deliver a lap top computer. During the day we continued to check the tracking number and it always said "out for delivery". Around 5:30pm we checked and the status said "Unable to deliver, no one available for delivery" or something like that. We called FedEx in Gainesville and were told that they would be open until 7:00 pm and that we could pick up the computer there, in person. We did drive there and, as I signed for the laptop, asked when the driver had checked in / completed his route. The manager looked at a log and said the driver was back at the FedEx location at 6:00pm or something like that. I asked when the driver had attempted to make the delivery of our computer and was told it was around 5:30 or so... I then pointed out that we lived a minimum of 45-50 minutes away, and how in the world did a FedEx truck drive 45 miles in 30 minutes? The manager stared at me for a moment and I went ahead and said aloud, "You driver is a liar". I signed for my laptop and left. Thats FedEx nightmare #1.

I had 2 large, heavy packages delivered to my home on Saturday, November 7, 2015. I was expecting a dog food delivery soon, so when I saw the truck stop at my mailbox I figured it was mine - but nobody came down the driveway. Later, the doorbell rang and it was my neighbor (standing in the rain) with two boxes on his hand trucks. How in anybodys world, could a driver stop at a mailbox, with the house number on the mailbox, and walk ACROSS the lawn of another house and deliver 2 very large, heavy packages? Normally, they just pull down the driveway and unload them in front of the garage (rain or shine) instead of sitting them on the front porch (only a few yards away), out of the rain.

I had a FedEx driver come to my house on the day a package was supposed to be delivered to me. He sat at the top of my driveway for about 10 minutes with my package at the front of his vehicle. Im not sure what he was thinking but he put my package back inside his truck and drove off before I could walk outside to claim my package. I later went to check the tracking device and it said "delivery was unsuccessful because there was no one to claim the item". My garage door was wide open and there was a car inside. The man never walked down the driveway to so much as ring the door bell.

If I have any choice I will never use Fed Ex in Gainesville, GA again. The people that work there are totally incompetent! I had a package held at their location for pick up. An employee called to confirm and informed me when to expect the package back at their location. I left work early and drove for an hour. When I arrived I was informed that the shipper had requested this package be returned. I immediately called the shipper and they said that they did not request the return. Fed Ex lied about trying to deliver the package and again about returning the package.

I had the best experience at the FedEx Office in Gainesville,Ga. Austin the employee at the counter was very professional and sympathetic with my need to receive my package quickly. Austin took it upon himself to retrieve the package from the delivery truck so that I may pick up the package at the facility. The package contained my brothers urn, we were able to have the service for my brother on time with the help of Austin, thank you Austin.

Horrible customer service, asked the front desk employee to ensure a delivery would be made today at my home instead of the hold. Employee did nothing to ensure delivery and now I am going away and will not get this package despite paying for 2 day shipping
