Fair Gym, For Cheap Price. It may seem Cheap, but they will get their money eventually. Gym is usually packed, a lot of people standing around. Not a Gym for people who want true results from a Gym. They Double Charged me one month, causing an Overdraft on my account (Credit union took care of that), and refused to give me an explanation why, or Refund the overcharge, saying it was in the fine print of the contract. So, I Canceled the membership. That should have been the end of it... Nope, I was wrong! Not 2 weeks later they charged my card again, for an odd amount, not even the monthly rate and no where near the date it would have been charged, if i were still a member. Upon inquiring with the Club, they admitted that the Charge was accidental. So, Just reverse the charge I thought would be the logical resolve... Again, I was wrong. The have to submit a refund request form, and wait for it to process then they would issue me a check and mail it to me. No, unacceptable. So, who else can i talk to about it, the referred me to Email, yes Email, the regional Manager with my issue and then he could submit the forms. Can I talk to a Human, not outside the club. Third party Billing co? No Contact possible. So, I contacted my Credit Union, to dispute the Blatantly Fraudulent Charge, which they are taking care of much more promptly. All this Hassle, yeah, its only $5, but its about the Principle here, They will lure you in with a low rate, Take money when they want and not give it back without a hassle. Unethical Billing Practices, waste of time.

This place is a rip off! So much for not having a membership agreement! I tried to cancel them from taking money out of my account and was told by the management that I had to send in a $20.00 certified letter to stop the membership. I get what this place is about - a low advertised membership rate and place the gym in area where it is not convenient to use and then make it difficult to cancel. So much for not having a membership agreement. A friend works at this location and they checked the membership list and they have over 9,000 members at this location. They sell a ton of memberships and know they will not be using. All of them are trapped paying anywhere from $10.00 - $20.00 per month and have it deducted from their account. The company makes it difficult to stop the payment so they get payed even when the member wants to stop. A lot my friends have had their cars broke ( windows broke) into and wallets and purses stolen while working out there and it is unsafe as it is accross the street from Flint MI a high crime city. The company provides no security and it is unsafe. Stay away from this place as they provide an unsafe place plus they make it very difficult to cancel a membership. So much for not having a contract! They lie in their advertisments.

I was a member here a couple years ago and drifted away for various reasons. I finally got myself back into the mindset of wanting to work out, and went in today to sign up again. During just the sign-up process, they rang that huge, irritating buzzer twice. Any small thump in the building, that might be a weight being dropped, sends the power-tripping desk jockey to the buzzer. I didnt even notice the thump, or whatever the trigger was, but that buzzer is startling to anyone even close to that area. When I questioned the person about the buzzer, he said if you dont like the buzzer, dont drop the weights. That doesnt much help me if someone else drops them though. I canceled the sign-up procedure and will try Snap Fitness.

My husband and I have been going here almost 2 years in the beginning we were not real pleased. Now that they have expanded and done some upgrading it is awesome! The staff has always been great!!! We dont like to see so many staff members come and go like they do, makes us think that Planet Fitness is really hard to work for!! The staff are working hard all the time we are there. We own a business and that is what we like to see dedicated employees!!! We have never had a problem with our billing it comes out of our account every month just like they explained in the beginning!

8-23-13 Repeated requests to fix the foot straps on the upright bikes are ignored and vinyl covers on a number of machines are badly deteriorating. 9-30-13 update. The gym is much cleaner lately and the vinyl covers have been fixed(they cant seem to get all the foot straps fixed on the bikes though). The large fans are a great addition, moving air finally. Hate to see the crowds start back in again though. The gym is a great value overall. 4-1-14 Gym dirty, empty paper towel holders all over. Looks like they have reduced staffing. The help seems rushed and overwhelmed.

I havent had any serious problems with this place other than where it is located---which is no fault of Planet Fitness. The writing skills of these reviewers says a lot about the mentality of their clients. You arent going to get a gold platter for $10 per month and there IS security here (Lagarda). One issue I do have is their boast of 24/7. This place is NOT 24/7---on the weekends they close at 7:00 pm and on holidays they close much earlier, so that is a bit deceptive.

Been a member for a couple years now. Its really not a real gym for those who are serious about their workout. Akways over crowded with ppl who are just there to take up space. Plant Firness is like a Mcdonalds chain. If your hunger its fast food but not healthy good food. Ive seriously been thinking aboit looking for a real gym. Gym that will cater to my needs from weightloss to bodybuilding. Plant Fitness is a quick fix. I guess you get what you pay for.

I like this place. Not sure what the lady above is talking about (getting hit on allot) nobody really talks to eachother unless they came together. They do need some scales though.kind of odd that a gym doesnt have them. And they need to make it clear to wipe down the machines with a new paper towel each time. Ive seen people pulling used towels out of their pockets. YUCK. The alarm really isnt even that loud and they dont ring it very much.

Thr gum ia a nice size & overall clean : however, too many dumb rules. The plug in radio at the machines Suck! U only get 3 radio stations. NO INTERNET NO WIFI Some of the giys there are creepy Ive never gotten hit on so much its like anyone can go there. I think the low cost attracts all kinds (well leave itt as that). The location prob says it all. Also, sunglasses working out? Are u people serious??

I like the gym good atmosphere, nice customer service the only 2 thing i wish can be improved on is the weights on the dumbbell rack to get increased up to 125 right now it stops at 60 and to have a squat rack. Other than that i love the gym
