I have been dry cleaning my clothes for 30 years and I have yet to find a perfect cleaners. I have a story to tell about every cleaner that I can remember from shrinking clothes, sending clothes back with stains, repeated collar buttons missing. But to have a dry cleaner return $350 I left in my pocket is amazing to me. I was in Royal Oak day three years back and noticed the $1.99 sign and decided to give them a try. The local cleaners always charged too much and you needed a chart to determine your rate based on the number of garments. My initial experience was typical of other cleaners except for the cost. Over time I one complaint about the buttons getting ripped off of my collars for a stretch and having to pay to have them replaced. I switch to the Farmington Hills store which was closer to my home, slightly out of my way to work, but the problem was solved. I have been using the Farmington Hills store ever since and I have had nothing but success. I had a navy blazer that had a stain that I tried getting out and had dry cleaned a few times. I alerted the clerk to the stain and like magic it was gone as with other stains like ink and hi-lighter that have been cleaned. IMO I think the $10-$20 I save per cleaning outweighs any minor loss I may suffer over time.

I should have listened to the other reviews. 3 expensive dress shirts went in clean, lightly wrinkled, and came out stained, more wrinkled, and had bad creases from someone ironing improperly. Some stains are white, others almost look like oil. 3 expensive dress pants went in, same condition as above, came out in similar fashion minus the pleats. 1 nice suit top went in with very few wrinkles, and slightly musky smelling. It came out exactly the same. Considering their track record with the other items, Im confident they just put a bag over it and called it a day or it would have been ruined as well. All in all, a loss of about 700 dollars worth of clothes which should have lasted a few more years easily, and of course nobody had anything to say about it or were even willing to talk to me. Dont be stupid like me and ignore the reviews, these werent just angry people venting from minor incidents. Stay away and protect your investment.

This place sucks. Last year they ruined my favorite suit, leaving ink spots all over it. I was going out of town & didn't notice it until I got to my destination. Upon returning home I went back to the store to complain & was told that it was my fault because I didn't check my clothes before I left. But really, who expects INK to be on a light tan suit. They didn't even offer to try to remove the spots. I told the guy I won't be coming back & he shrugged his shoulders. In addition the cuffs of another suit were taken out somehow & the lining of a jacket was torn. They have a bunch of kids working there who obviously don't pay attention to what they're doing. My wife went back anyway & her dress had white spots all over it that weren't there when she took it. Then it was wrinkled like it was never cleaned. Again...THIS PLACE BLOWS! Go at your own risk.

Do not take your best clothes here. They put your things in a washer & dryer which you can do yourself. They ruined two brand new shirts and said it wasnt their fault. The front of one shirt was sticking together. There are a bunch of teenagers running this place. If there are spots on your clothes when you drop them off, they will still be there when you pick up. Also, I found white spots on clothes after picking them up. The concept and the $1.99 price is great but the service sucks. So if you use this place, point out any spots and check your clothes when you pick up.

In a pinch they are OK but they needlessly charge for "extras". I have a formal jacket that has a removable button-on collar. They said that this is considered a garment and that I would be charged extra. When I picked up my uniform, it still smelled like the dangerous dry cleaning chemical that they use. The staff is rude and incompetent. The manager not even knowing what chemical they used during the dry cleaning process. I will be finding myself another dry cleaner.

This cleaners is HORRIBLE. I took my husband shorts in to be Dry Cleaned and when I picked them up they were faded like they just threw them in the washing machine. I left them for the so called owner to see and when he called me back he was very RUDE and had the nerve to say that it was a manufacture defect when the shorts were perfectly fine when I left them. I will never ever take anything to them they do not take responsibility for their actions. Disgusted

Dont believe that its $1.29/shirt for laundry. Owner puts up the signs and then instructs workers to charge you $2.99 and when you ask them about it, you get yelled at. Ask for starch and they dont. All my shirts come back wrinkled. Whats the point of spending all that money? Going to Van Dyke cleaners down the street. Theres too many dry cleaners around to have to put up with this service.

I was in here on wed nov 9th and it was Horrible. I feel bad for employee. Manager wouldnt let her go home with the flu. Instead she is forced to stay and told she will just keep having to run to bathroom. This seems pretty unfair to any person. As well as the manager is very rude. This is very inconsiderate to employees and customers that shouldnt have to be around someone with the flu.

The lady behind the counter was rude. I left with 2 pieces of clothing that were not mine, in addition someone has 2 pieces of clothing that are mine. I tried to prevent this from happening -which is when the lady behind counter got rude. I have a dress with a spot on it- that was not removed....nor did they tag it as spot and try and clean it...

Save yourself the headache. Dry Clean Depot does not hold their locations to any standard. Their Bloomfield hills location has no quality control, customer service or concern for customers clothing. There are a lot of alternatives for dry cleaning, any of them would be a better place for your clothing and money.

I took my clothes to this location, specifically asked that my jeans be cleaned, lightly starched, and pressed. I was highly disappointed when I retrieved my clothing back and the jeans werent cleaned, but starched and pressed. Where they do that at? I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone..
