After reading the great reviews, I decided to try this place out. BIG MISTAKE!! I made an appointment the previous day, showed up on time the next day. One person was there and she tried calling another stylist. Two other workers came in with terrible attitudes. I sat up there for nearly an hour with no one showing up to do my hair, 3 stylists just sitting up on their cells phones not telling me whats going on, not speaking to me at all. Then they started complaining to each other about their employment there. VERY unprofessional. They just didnt care. This was my day off work. I needed my hair done. Had to call another salon to see if they could do my hair same-day and luckily they could. It was just a waste of my time. I woke up early to come here and couldnt get my hair done by them. I took my $200+ tip elsewhere. I will NEVER come to this salon again.

I have been going here for three years now. I did however take a break from the shop do to some staff changes and that was a very big mistake. I had two of the owners previous employees do my hair and they did nothing but damage it. The locs became very thin and weak. When I went back the owner without even saying a word could tell that my hair had been damage. Since going back for 5/6 months now, my locs are better and stronger than before. I would recommend this Naturally Beautiful salon if you are looking for great hair care and wonderful employees. The owner and the shop have come along way since I started this process in June 2012,

The experience I had at this business was horrible. The stylist use foul language, the owner Afia is rude and disrespectful. Shes very greedy individual. The employees know nothing about conducting business in front of clients. From the language, the lounging around the shop, the attitudes and disrespect is high in this so called business. Clients beware! Be cautious of bringing your children.

I ask for a two strand twist and got a loose two strand twist they are coming down ( on the first day smh) and this is not my first two strand twist Jasmine did my hair at textures by Nefertiti and its pretty this by the owner is dry and loose. I am mad at myself because I shouldnt make my appointment with Jasmine and I will not had this bad experience!!!!

This shop has to be one of the best dred shops in the city. The owner Afia, is extremely knowledgeable about natural hair care and use her own proprietary natural products. As a man just starting the locking process I would recommend Naturally Beautiful to any one starting the locking process or any one seeking to maintain their locs.

After a horribly long wait at Textures by Nefertiti, they were so rude I left. Called a friend and she told me about Naturally Beautiful I drove straight there walked in to a calm nice enviroment, Afia took me right to her chair started my locs with very short short hair, did a wonderful job, this will be my new loc destination

Had a great experience. The shop is really nice and the ladies are really polite. I had a bad experience with the first women who did my hair but the salon owner called me back and agreed to redo the braids for me! I really like the new braids and the women are very talented ! Had a wonderful experience here. Didnt have to wait long to be seen, everyone was friendly, and my hair didnt take more than 4 hours to finish. I got Senegalese twist and they were beautiful. Last a while too. Would recommend this shop. Plan on returning to get my hair braided again.
