Rashid Construction came out for a bid on our home roof repair because we needed to stop leaks in a few places in our ceilings. They insisted that we ONLY needed an over-lay and not a replacement. They also reassured us that their work was under complete 10 year warranty. They performed the overly, used the ORIGINAL step flashing, - which was against code - and the roof started to leak that Fall. We called Rashid and they ignored us would not take responsibility for their shotty work. They said that the leaks were not under warranty because it was not their fault. Also that they warned us of this before they started the work. They stalled on getting back to us as much as possible, trying to break free of the statute of limitations for such complaints filed through the state. We placed a complaint against them before the statute passed, through the proper state agency. The state required an inspector to sign off that the complaint had validity. The local village inspector agreed to our faces that this was in fact their fault. He said this happens all the time. Less than one month later, the complaint was closed because the inspector reversed his decision. We called him asking why he reversed his decision, and he said that Rashid had a point - they were not at fault, but in fact it was the materials that they used. Clearly, the City Of Beverly Hills inspector was paid off. Several months after this reversal, the Village inspector was forced into retirement. We called various insurance companies and no one wanted to cover the damage. We paid Rashid Construction $7000, and then had to pay another $3000 to stop the leaking and replace recently rotted framing in the roof and our interior ceilings. Rashid Construction is not trustworthy, they do not deserve their license and use the system for their own profits, wrecking homes in their paths. They stole our money, paid off people who could help the consumer, and continue to advertise that they will do good work. They should have their license revoked.

I asked Rashid Construction to bid on replacing my roof in late 2010, along with 2 other companies. Before any of the companies visited, I obtained a 3rd party (independent) estimate of materials required (how many squares of shingles). Rashids estimate was in-line with the 3rd party estimate. The 2 other bids overestimated (and therefore their price) by 20-25%. Phil and his crew arrived on site when they said they would, completed the job in the time they estimated, and were considerably more reasonable than the other companies that bid. The cleanup was thorough, and the job they did was outstanding. It has now been a little over two years since they completed the job. We have had no issues with our new roof, and are completely satisfied customers. When it comes time for future construction projects, I will call the Rashids.

I had Rashid Construction come out and they did a beautiful job building framework and all new windows at my place. They did the job in a very acceptable amount of time and the cleanup was meticulous. I have had neighbors come to see the work they did for me and asked for the phone number so that they could have them come out to do work for them as well. I am very satisfied with the job and would consider calling them in the future for any other construction needs I have.

Trustworthy, Reliable, Excellent Work...what else can be said! Rashid Construction took care of our roof after a severe storm. They came out immediately and made the necessary precautions to protect the roof from further damage. After ordering the specialty shingles they came back on the date they said they would and made the repairs. We have a large roof and the repairs were excellent. They also had the best price around!

The very courteous and personable salesperson came over to assess the job. He made very useful suggestions for how to resolve my roof issue. He left saying that I would be seeing a quote in the next day or so, but . the quote never showed up. I called the company several times, leaving messages each time, but I never got a call back. Not a very professional way of dealing with people!

New Roofing job. The quotation process was smooth, and they were very supportive and flexible to quote what we wanted. Due to some labor difficulties, the 1-2 day job stretched out five days and some finishing touches followed a couple weeks later. That was not so nice...but in the end, they made everything right and made sure that we were happy. The roof is beautiful!
