This review is based solely on customer service and professionalism of technician and ownership. Our sanitary line was blocked. Technician found blockage and asked to speak to my wife so he could "educate" her on what it was. I told him she did not want to speak to him and it was not necessary as we understood the blockage was due to tampons. He took it upon himself, when he saw her, to shame her in front of me for flushing tampons, or as he called them "sewer rats". He then proceeded to tell my wife "its sad that I have to come out here while you waste your husbands money". This was incredibly unprofessional and a highly misogynistic comment. I received a call back from someone within the company that day, Labor Day, concerning our complaint. The person that called sounded sincere in their apology and stated that they were absolutely appalled by what had happened. This person was unable to assist us though and stated they would let the owner know and he would surely take time to call us and resolve this issue. I did not receive a call from the owner, instead I received a call from the plumber? Not sure why the owner did not call, but I was able to get the owner on the phone via the plumber. I spoke with the owner on the phone and he could not have been more dismissive of our concerns. All he said was that he had known the plumber for 15 years and he does not have a bad bone in his body. He, plumber, was only trying to "educate" us as if we did not understand. The owner failed to understand the root of the issue was the technician telling my wife that she was wasting my money, eluding to his assumption she does not draw an income along with speaking to my wife on the issue when I asked him not too. In the end, the owner refused to admit any wrong doing, stating that I, myself, surely must have said one thing in my past that I regretted. Update: Owner called back, we discussed and came to a mutual resolution.

Terrible customer service. After describing the need of a 4-6" clean out, I was quoted $200 range. Plumber got there and charged me $400 because the 4-6" clean out is a higher price. The customer service reps should know this. They also told me after the fact a camera inspection was included in the cost. After them charging me so much more, I had a different plumber come out to inspect the job for $50. I called Derrick to discuss the problem who is apparently the manager, who has no customer service factor to his title "you couldve told us to leave" was his answer. I was selling my home and needed the inspection done, I didnt have more time to find another plumber. I was stuck between a rock and a hard place. I lost an extra $250 because of Crgger plumbing. The buyer of my homes realtor referred me there. She was so mortified by my experience, she is no longer using them and let 4 of her other realtor colleagues know of the bad experience. They may not want to refund me anything, but I know they will lose more than $250 in the near future.

My 1949 residential sanitary pipe (house to street main) blocked-up on a Sunday (of course). Contacted several plumbers and, although I never used them before, only Cregger responded. The plumber arrived in an hour and spent 3-hours but could not completely clear the line. Although we both thought the line had collapsed and needed to be replaced, they insisted on returning Monday with different equipment and Derrick the owner to try to clear it again. I frankly thought this would just be a "fake attempt" and they would then be happy to provide a proposal for digging and replacing a broken line (again, a 1949 home). I was surprised that they really went after it and were able to clear the line. They even ran a video camera (at no charge) the full length to confirm it was cleaned, where it actually ran and connected to the main, and condition. Even with about 4-hours of labor, two trips, and two people, they only charged me the normal weekend/holiday rate which was reasonable. Highly recommended and I will use them again. Thank you!

Fair price, but we had a bad plumber. About a year and a half ago we had them out to run a new gas line for a gas stove and fix a slow leak in our shower. He fixed the shower and ran the gas line. The next morning we returned to our new house to it being filled with gas fumes. They dispatched a different plumber immediately to fix the issue. He had installed the new flange incorrectly and it was leaking. The new plumber they sent fixed it with a smile and said "this isnt the first time I have had to follow him". Fast forward a year and a half to present day, and the knob fixed in the shower just blew off flooding our bathroom and consequently the living room and basement by the time we could get to it. Calling them yielded a proposal for "emergency service" to the tune of $180. No thank you. If I have to PAY to fix the issue we already paid for, I will call a more competent plumber. New plumber didnt deem this as emergency, will be here in a half hour, and is charging the standard $69 service fee.

We moved into a home around 3 and a half years ago and had been plagued with sewer/drain flies in our home since moving in. They were terribly annoying, as flies are. However when I found out what kind of fly they were it made me feel dirty and also made me feel as though my home was unclean. We tried a number of ways to find a solution to our problem, however the flies just kept coming back. We called Cregger Plumbing and they found our problem right away, which was a drain that was improperly capped off. Cregger Plumbing to the rescue!! They came in capped off the drain (properly) and we have not had a single sewer/drain fly for 6 months. What a great relief, after dealing with this problem for almost 3 years. Thank you so much Derek Mackie and the entire crew at Cregger Plumbing. You guys are the greatest!!

Called at 1:53 to set up an appointment, and asked the lady on the phone if it would be okay for me to call back in 5 minutes before confirming the appointment, to which she responded "Sure thing, no problem." When I did call back at 1:58, the next person who answered the phone was a surly woman who refused to schedule the appointment because it was "after 2:00 and now emergency hours". When I pointed out that it was not, in fact "after 2:00" as she claimed, she bristled and steadfastly refused to schedule me. WaterWork Plumbing took my call and didnt raise a fuss about the prospect of performing a service. Not sure how Cregger plans to survive as a business without customers. The second star is for the first lady who answered the phone. She seemed nice.

I am very happy to write a good review for this company. I initially found them on Angies List. I have used them twice within the past two years for different services and both times the service was great. This time was for a backed up sewer line which was clogged with roots. The plumber was very considerate and kind and was able to clear the drain and the price they quoted over the phone was in line with the price I was charged. I was charged on the higher end but I expected as much. Their price for snaking a basement is beyond reasonable and I was relieved of my problem of a backed up basement for now. Obviously I have more work ahead but I know who to call should I ever encounter this problem again until then.
