I had a serious problem with the drain tile system in my basement. I was getting water coming up through the concrete floor due to a plugged system. We have a totally finished basement with the exception of my workshop and a storage room. My fear was in order to fix the problem the walls and carpet would have to be destroyed. I called Paul C. Scott and Sons because we use them at our business in Royal Oak MI. and they have always been very knowledgeable and professional when we called upon them for our business needs. However, working on my house is an entirely different situation; I am the definition of fussy!! Gil and his team came to my home and took every precaution to ensure they keep the area clean while assessing the problem. I had a severely plugged up system due to a large amount of iron in the soil surrounding my house causing the pipes to clog up under the basement floor. Gil and his team used very high tech equipment to locate precisely where all the problem areas were. Then he totally delighted me by informing me he could cut the floor at strategic locations and install cleanouts, then use high pressure equipment to clear out the entire system and do all of this from those areas that were unfinished so he wouldn’t disrupt the finished area of our basement. I was ecstatic the only other concern I had after giving him the go ahead was the mess I was going to have to deal with after the repair. Well “NO MESS” at all they came to my house and covered every area of my floor from the back door all the way to the areas where they were going to do the work. Then they put up visqueen barriers everywhere they were working. When they were done the system worked perfect and not one spec of dirt of dust anywhere unbelievable!!! Fantastic job. I couldn’t recommend them higher.

Ive never before written an online review for a service company, but the exceptional service that we received from Paul Scott plumbing demands it. A broken disposal on a Saturday morning the day before a party of 30 people had me scrambling to find a plumber online for emergency service. Chris, who answered the phone, was not only calm and knowledgeable, but she was sympathetic. The technician (Nile) arrived early and found the problem which two other companies had never properly diagnosed. He was neat, kind and very much knew what he was doing. The bad news is that a toilet broke the day OF the party. The good news is that Nile will be coming back to handle the repair - along with a few other issues - and I am confident and comfortable that all will be serviced properly the first time. I highly recommend Paul Scott Plumbing to anyone needing service. And Im thrilled to finally have a plumbing company that I can call with confidence. Even under emergency situations, the service was quick, reliable and expertly handled.

Avoid this company unless you prefer to pay for no work to be completed. I called, explained the need for a simple drain snake to fix a partial clog and scheduled an appointment for when I was at work......MISTAKE! The technician came, walked around the house (both inside and out) and told my wife (who was trying to watch our two kids) he would have to come back *with a camera* and possibly need to work for 5 hours on the clog. The kicker of this was he charged us $140 ($45 to show up and $95 for an hour of walking around my house) and would not leave until he was paid. When I got home my wife told me what happened and I promptly called their office and cancelled his return appointment with explanation. The customer service manager told me she would look into why he needed to come back and hs never called back...AVOID THIS COMPANY. FYI - Called another local (honest) plumber who came over and snaked the two cleanouts and the problem was solved within hours... ONCE AGAIN AVOID THIS COMPANY.

We have used Paul Scott & Sons plumbing for years. The office is always very knowledgeable and helpful. We have had a number of their plumbers at our house for many different things over the years. They have always been courteous and have done a great job. Last year we had a major flood due to a broken sump pump drain line. It was a big job and was completed in a very timely manner, I am happy to report that our basement has been dry ever since. Cant recommend them enough.

We had plumbing issues with our kitchen sink and Paul C. Scott & Sons plumbing was recommended to us by the local hardware store. They came out to the house within an hour of calling to provide an estimate, and then were able to fix the problem the next day. They did an excellent job and were efficient, although a little expensive, but apparently all plumbing is expensive. I would definitely use them again in the future.

I wish I had read the reviews before I called them. Like the others I was charged double what I was quoted and the staff there is incredibly rude when all I did was ask why it was so much. All I wanted was for them to snake my drain and when they said on the phone "$100-$150" I expected as much. The $287 bill was a shock. How do people like this stay in business if they act this way?

Brian Scott (one of the Scotts) came by to do back flow testing as required by Troy. He was prompt, courteous and efficient walking me through my sump and sprinkler back flow set ups. He did the test, completed the necessary paperwork on my behalf and did it all in just 30 minutes. Couldnt be happier with how this service call went. Thanks Brian and hanks #PaulCScottPlumbing!

Horrible Service! I will just stick to the basics as there were so many bad things. Got charged almost 3 times what I was quoted, the guy they sent out was rude and looked homeless, and when I called and spoke to the owner I was assaulted with language I can not repeat. This place is a scam and I have no idea how they stay in business treating people this way. STAY AWAY!

Terrible service. First they scammed me an hour of service. I had them come out to install a faucet and it took 2 hours? The work itself was terrible. Then charged me extras and when I called to get them explained the owner came on the phone and used cuss words to get his point across that he didnt care what I thought of his service. STAY AWAY!

Tony from Paul Scott Plumbing came out to my house this past Spring because my sprinkler system was not working. The problem was a backflow valve had burst from a previous owner now winterizing the system. He replace it and I was on my way to greener grass. Professional, knowledgeable and fast.
