My experience with marching ants moving company was not good. Three movers arrived on time. The lead man really struggled on how to pack a truck for maximum efficiency. He spent a lot of time rearranging items and still left a lot of unused space. My real issue was when we arrived at our storage unit after we loaded our small amount of furniture. The lead man stated would have to make two trips from the storage unit to our new home. When I looked at the truck, which was only 2/3 full I asked him why? He stated that they could not handle any more boxes. I Said to him, you are only 2/3 loaded. One whole section of the truck was filled with wrapping blankets, which I suggested they move. They moved them and loaded some more storage unit boxes. Then he said thats all, but there was still plenty of room. Since they charge by the hour, I was immediately suspicious of his motives. Another trip was 2-3 more charged hours. He really struggled with organizing the load, therefore leaving valuable space unused. They left me with 1/3 of my storage unit to haul myself at a later date, even though they had more than enough space on the truck to handle it. I may have been sent a poor organizer for the lead man, but his attitude was surly and non-communicative. Seamed like he didnt really want to do his job the right way. Then to close out, I was double billed by the company. Wow!! Their are many better options for your move. I was very disappointed with the whole process. I hope the owners look at the lead man on this crew to prevent poor reviews like this one. I have moved nine times, so I have quite a lot of moving experience. Do your homework before your decision.

I wish I could leave a better review. When I called to schedule our move I was told all our items with drawers would be wrapped, and they werent. So, a few of my drawers were slammed open and closed during the move (and are damaged because of it). I was also told there would be garment boxes on the truck that I could use for our hanging clothes, but there were not. When I asked one of the movers, his response was to shrug his shoulders and say "I guess we can put them in the truck and just drape them". Needless to say, I had to move them all. When I called to talk with someone about these things I had to leave a message, and surprise surprise I did not get a call back (despite getting a call back almost immediately when I called to schedule the move). I wish I were happier for the amount of money we had to pay.

Just an important note to let you know how pleased and thankful I am for my moving experience with your company. An experience I was dreading was a really positive time thanks to MONTA and MIKE and CODY. They were professional, efficient and friendly and they made the day fun. My interaction with Ben in the office was also very positive - he was quick to assess and price($$ smile emoticon ) the next day after I called. These qualities are not prevalent in todays business world and I am so happy that your company was able to move me. I also had a second move from storage to the new condo and again MONTA and CODY were awesome. I would certainly highly recommend your company without reservation. Thank you so very much. Some of the most important aspects customers look at when doing business with someone are the quality of work that company will give you, and the type of people who own/work for that company. Christa and Ben, the owners, are very honesty, genuine, and hard working people. They are wonderful to deal with. Their operations manager, Chester, is very organized and makes sure the job is done correctly always. Becca, their office manager who is usually the one to answer the phone, is extremely pleasant to deal with. The only moving company I will ever use, or refer, is Marching Ant Moving due to the quality of work they do and the great people you get to deal with.

We needed a refrigerator moved. I had heard some good things about Marching Ant Moving, so I contacted them. I got a return call pretty quickly and we set up a time and date to have the fridge moved. On the moving date I received several calls from the movers letting me know exactly when they would arrive. Joel & Will showed up and were very friendly & professional. They moved the fridge into our house and proceeded to set it up. Then they moved the old fridge into the garage for us. Thanks Marching Ant Moving for a job well done.

Our moving team was lead by BJ and helped by Jordan. These two men were assigned our move from Lapeer MI to Port Hope. We cant say enough about how professional, courteous, and careful they were with our items. By the time they reached and unloaded our items we felt that we were working with family. From the first contact with the company we cant say enough about how well organized and professional this moving company is! The Good: They were on time, did not damage anything, were for the most part pleasant. The Bad: I would recommend that you have someone from Marching Ants come to your house and give an estimate on site, not over the phone. We took the owners advice that we would be good with two guys and 1 truck. We ended up needing fours guys and two loads. A couple of the guys griped about their jobs like they didnt want to be doing what they were doing. The whole move (about 2 miles) took 12 hours.

Marching Ant did an amazing job helping us move in August 2016. We had 3 guys work a full day, with 2 trips of their truck and they never stopped moving! The movers were very hard working, respectful, pleasant and easy to talk to. You could see they took their time to pack our belongings with care. We did not have one issue with them or any damage to report. Overall, a great company that was very responsive and reasonable rates. Would definitely recommend!

Marching Ants moved us two weeks ago. We were so pleased with everyone. From the estimate to the complete move. The guys were courteous and very considerate of our belongs. Nothing got damaged. It was a long day, and they were still friendly at the end. I would definitely recommend this company to my friends and family.
