We have an old camper that did not come with a key for the door lock. We called another locksmith in Grand Rapids and he told us our lock was "impossible" to re-key. We then called Emergency Lock & Safe and it sounded like there was hope for our lock. We stopped by with the camper and they took the lock out of the door, re-keyed it, and had it back in the door within an hour. While we were there, we witnessed multiple customers have their problems solved within minutes. These guys are awesome. Definitely recommend for any lock issues! They go the extra mile!

I found them thru Angies List and called them because of positive reviews. I did not appreciate the condescending attitude. Not everybody is familiar with the exact terminologies around locks. If you want customer service or at the very least treated with respect, I strongly recommend you find someone else. Why would I hire somebody who talks to me with a condescending tone and unprofessional attitude?

After inadvertently locking ourselves out of our (Allendale) home on a frosty winter evening (after regular business hours), technicians from Emergency Lock and Safe arrived about half an hour after we called them for assistance. They were extremely friendly, efficient, and professional. We are so very thankful for their help!

Excellent customer service... very polite under new ownership... there is no more rude employees they also have a new location at 130 packard Avenue se Grand Rapids mi 49503 I will definitely will be going back.. also if u get a chance use them for your locksmith needs or just go check out there new location there great.

First, the Guy who answered the phone was not very friendly, kind of rude actually. Second, they forgot to send out their guy, only to apologize when I called an hour earlier to see where he was. Lastly, they were 20$ more expensive than Pop-a-lock, who was vey friendly, quick and cheap.

Just called Emergency Lock and Safe. Told them my problem. No door key, Ignition key broken off in switch. The gentleman said, Ignition key IS door key. To get key out, and make a new one, Around $15.00. Dont even have to take it out. Just drive it in, and theyll fix it. Lou
