I called E.M. Sergeant to clean one furnace and replace another furnace in another property. The lethargic service tech showed up, looked at the system and after 30 seconds let me know I needed a new fan motor. I asked for a price and said Id need to think on it. He then begin packing his things as though he was leaving. I kindly let him know that I was paying for a cleaning and that I would like to get the system cleaned. After rushing through a rather feeble cleaning he asked for the $69 dollars for the service, I told him Id rushed out the door and grabbed a hundred and could be credited the difference or could get change to which he replied "I dont have time for that, Ive already spent too much time here. Well send you a bill". So, for my $69 I got a 5 no 7 minute cleaning that consisted of the tech using a paint brush sweeping and blowing air with his mouth on the burners. Worst $69 Ive ever spent. If the tech is going to rush through a cleaning theres no telling what damage hell do when attempting to install a new system. !!!KEEP AWAY!!!

I have a farm house I am rehabbing. I need propane for my heat, cooking and hot water. I call the company. Very nice. my plan is to prepay for everything for the season. Period. I do not do credit. I pay as I go. He then said they would have to do a credit check to place a tank. On a lark I told him I have no credit. He chuckled and said they probably could not place a tank. Lol, discrimination at its best. Typical. I have credit. No sweat. My partner is also checking other companies. Money and credit are not a problem for us. My problem is fair practice and honest business. Only CERTAIN people get commodities and service. I understand economics. I was happy to pay for the tank placement. Good luck guys. Our farm will go someplace else.

After waking up one morning without heat, a tech was at our house within 90 mins of making a call. We found out that we needed a new furnace, although unfortunate , it ended up turning into a great experience. Less than 24 hours later, they were at our house installing the new furnace. They even dropped off space heaters so our kids rooms wouldnt get too cold while we waited. Jonathan, the salesmen, was excellent, both professional and kind. He went above and beyond to take care of every detail. Tim, who helped install the furnace, was also very professional and knowledgeable. Highly recommend!!!

In 2007 we had E.M. Sergeant install a new air conditioning system on our climate control system. Immediately after the installation the system failed to produce cool air. E.M. Sergeant sent a tech out to diagnose the problem with the system, the tech found no issues. We then blamed our existing system for the problem thinking that it was not the new air conditioning system. After the recent heat wave we had a third party company come out to see if they could find a problem with the system and it turns out the parts that E.M. Sergeant installed were faulty from the beginning.

Sergeant has been handling my HVAC needs for more than ten years. Have had a couple of no-heat emergencies at night or on weekends and been happy to see them show up quickly and take care of the problem. Have also purchased two furnace systems and found them to be helpful and straightforward in discussing the pros and cons of the various choices, not steering me toward the most expensive option only.

This is my new favorite heating and cooling provider. They came out and installed heat within two days of my phone call when we were without heat this winter. They also installed our Central air. They were very kind and caring and their price was the lowest of three quotes. You cant do better than E.M. Sergeant heating and cooling.
