I dont have a single complaint about this gym. Its probably the cleanest gym Ive ever been too. I came from LA Fitness and its really nice coming to power house and not having someone try to sell me something everytime I walk in. Ive never waited for any equipment. Not very crowded at 8-11am (sometimes Im the only one there) But even when they are busy other members are very courteous. Most importantly about 95% of people Rerack the weights after there done. About 6 months ago I broke my neck in a car accident and the support from Frank (Manager), his employees and other members has helped the recovery process alot. Anyways, if you want a gym where you can get a great work out in and where youre treated like a friend instead of a payday Power house is a great place to go. P.s. And since I now frank reads these we need a decline bench haha

Gym gets extremely packed, enrollment fees are ridiculous!!!! Machines are pretty dirty. The manager at this location is odd, hes always staring at people giving dirty looks, i tried using the troy location only to find that it was half the size of madison heights. Too expensive to find out the hard way, take the advice...also if you look at troys reviews on google it may help change your mind, i got stuck in a contract they swear they told me i signed up for! At the same time i was cancelling another member was trying to cancel theirs as well, they also got denied...imight be easier to get out of a gang.

Great gym. Equipment is clean and organized. Open 24 hours a day. Staff is nice, available, but not in the way. Trainers in the gym dont overtake areas or equipment as is the case in some establishments. Peak hours get crowded, but not to the level that are seen at many places. I was a member of this gym for 7 years, and canceled my membership due to a relocation. 5 months in and I miss this place. Great gym, and for the money, it cant be beat.

Ive have been a member of many gyms in the area, and this one is by far the worst!! I canceled my membership after 3 weeks only. The staff here is very rude and mean. They have no respect at all to their customers. They care only about money, and once they have it, they treat you poorly. Be careful when you go there to sign up, because the staff will BEG you to sign the contract so they can get their bonuses!!

WARNING Do not come here. After I received a new debit card powerhouse Madison heights called visa asking for my info AFTER MY MEMBERSHIP ENDED BUT THEY TRIED TO TELL ME ITS RECURRING. Nope powerhouse you went out of your way AFTER my membership was finished to take more money out of my account.

Old equipment. Too tight, no room to train. staff is horrible. Expansive of what they got to offer. Pay 5$ more and go somewhere better.Because you are going to pay yearly fee different than the monthly fee.
