Most of the Staff is nice and polite. However, Scott- the person you would deal with if you want an Air Conditioner installed or fixed is horrible. He will NOT ever call you back. I called to make an appointment to have a quote for an AC install and the receptionist said Scott would call me to make the appointment. 2 weeks went by and I still had not heard from him. I had to call three times to get him to call me back and when he did he said he had already been out and looked at it. The home I was looking to have AC installed in was a rental, and they were told that, and also that he would have to call me so I could be there. He went with out calling and later got snippy with me about not feeling safe there because they were acting like he shouldnt be there. ( Expected, when they had no idea he was coming, nor did I) When he finally did call me back he told me a price and said it was "pending" if he could put a larger unit on the furnace. He said he would call me the next day with an answer and to set it up. On the phone he made me feel like I was too poor to afford his service seeing as the furnace I had wasnt a fancy or a high end one, and how old it was. ( What he didnt know, or bother to ask, was that the furnace was going to be replaced very soon and upgraded) He also told me he would check on an extended warranty and let me know when he called me the next day. Unsurprisingly it was 3 weeks later and multiple phone calls later I stopped into the office, again the staff was kind and talked to me and the receptionist knew me as soon as I said I had been calling, she even gave me the house number. I was told to stop back by around closing because he would be there. I went back in and waited to talk to him. When I finally did he treated me like I was irrational and said he had given me a quote that day and acted as though he was waiting on me. He couldnt find my paperwork and told me if he had to return every phone call that came in for him he would be in the office all day. He then got very rude to me and was cutting me off and telling me I should have just called and made an appointment to have them install it. He then tried to tell me he didnt feel safe there ( the house was being rented by 2 college girls) and when I tried to explain he needed to call me because the house was a rental and that he never did and that he should have called like they said he would he stood up and got VERY rude and defensive and tried to make it all my fault. I was so upset he would treat not only a potential customer like that but that he would outright start yelling at a 8 month pregnant girl! I would never recommend going there, any place else in Owosso, but not there. There are too many other kinder companys that will be nicer and actually have customer service, Scott obviously doesnt need any business.

Called to get a quote on replacing and repairing an upflush unit in the basement half bath. This job could be complicated/costly so I was looking to get a quote to prepare ahead of time for the costs involved. The Woman who answered mumbled, was rude and brushed me off, saying they dont "do quotes", you just pay by the hour and pay for parts. That doesnt seem quite right. What if you send me Mr. Sloth and it takes him a month to get my toilet operational? With her rude demeanor, she is a very bad "first face" for this company. Disappointing.

Everyone that I came into contact was great. Sent them a picture of the part and was called back immediately. When I went in to get the part everyone was friendly, professional and quite cheery, considering that they were without heat and electricity at the shop. When I had a problem with my part, I had no trouble reaching someone and again I feel like this business goes above and beyond, Lamphere, I will call for all of my heating and cooling issues. You have won a loyal customer with one experience. Happy Holidays too all of you there.

Serviced my commercial A/C unit 3 weeks ago. Broken again. Called 3 days in a row. Every day I was told Scott is the only one who can handle it and he would be here within a few hours of every time I called. I called their competitor and they were here within 4 hours. To summarize, if you run a business and your A/C goes out, dont be patient like me while you work 90 degrees indoors and get the run-around for days on end. Avoid this company.

The receptionist understood right away that I had a plumbing emergency that could not wait. The two technicians came over immediately, with the right equipment, and took care of the problem quickly and efficiently. Good work, Lamphere Plumbing!
