I had utterly destroyed my hair by a few too many processes (coloring and various chemicals) and was resigned to getting a very short cut, like Mia Farrow or Natalie Portman. Wendy at Downtown Salon saved it by fixing the color, putting in highlights, and giving me a really great cut that makes my face look so much better than before. I basically just let her do what she thought would look good, and I LOVE what she did. Thanks, Wendy! Also, Trinette at Downtown Salon has been doing my moms nails for about 18 years now, and while I dont normally wear acrylics, I plan to ask her to put acrylics on in a couple months for a special event. Ive seen the quality of work that she puts into my moms nails, and I would be a fool to ask anyone else to do my own nails. Sorry to the rest of the manicurists at Downtown Salon - Im sure youre excellent, but I cant help being partial to Trinettes work. :o)

I came in as a walk-in, in the evening, and the staff was great. They welcomed me into the salon, and Shelly did a great job with my hair! Would definitely come back!
