I love Firehouse subs their fantastic. I want to share a little story about this location and the owner. I was a former Monroe City Firefighter/Paramedic until I was laid off in 2005 and found myself going back into private EMS and was involved in a career ending motor vehicle accident in the ambulance as a passenger 01/10/2015. I had to have 3 surgeries and developed some serious lifelong illnesses and injuries. A friend started me a GoFundMe campaign to get me a medical lift chair being I was basically living in a lazy boy that was newer maybe a year old but even the best lazy boy on the market couldnt provide me what I needed comfort and the lift mechanism of the chair. An old friend that knew the owner of this Firehouse Subs reached out to them and they were able to raise 80% of the money because we had already raised the 20% already or Im sure they would have raised that as well. I just wanted to share my story how gracious the owner was in helping a beat up old fireman. So please support this business and Dave I never can thank you enough from the bottom of my heart and so you know the chair is perfect and helping me out immensely. simple order. ham lettuce tomato, pastrami and cheese, and pastrami with everything. thats not hard. they put cheese on the ham. they put no cheese on the pastrami but they put mayo and on the pastrami with everything I didnt see much cheese either. I know they are new but if the staff dont know what they are doing then the store shouldnt be opened. there were experienced workers looking over the new employees shoulders to make sure they were doing what they were supposed to . they obviously werent looking closely enough.

Well I decided to try this place finally. 1st thing is that I got got a steak and cheese foot long sub. Well not much more expensive than subway at all. Plus its actually hit and toasted....YUM. I promise I do not work here but will be getting my subs here from now on. The fact that I can donate to 1st responders makes it worth it. Then my $10.59 sub turns into an even $11. And the difference goes to people who need it. Give this place a try!!

I am a regular customer here, I brought a large sub to go. when I got home and found out there were 5 pieces of paper wrapping the sub with only half of the usual amount of meat in the sub. The amount of meat is inconsistent every time. A large sub usually fill me up well but this one is way too small so they used paper to make it look normal.

I have eaten here several times. Last time I got a large steak and cheese it was great. So a week later I make the same order. This sub was much smaller the the previous one and instead of putting in the the sub-carton that I got last time it was just wrapped in paper the bun was super soggy. Just looking for some consistency.

The food was complete trash I rather have eaten McDonalds I ordered a steak and cheese sandwich that ended up costing 12$ the bread was soggy ( it comes from a bag) and the chewey meet and canned mushrooms discussing a very cheap sandwich. I do not recommend this place at all complete rip off.

Got there late right before theyre wear about to close. The girls behind the counter was very nice and accommodating. Even know they wear about to close.
