I consulted with about 6 different companies big,small and independent companies etc. All quotes were within $250 of each other. The contract was well written and detailed. I scheduled the work to be done a month out. Due to personal reasons the owner needed to move the date. Costas provided a few alternative dates to pick from which included doing the work 3 days from the day of contact or 1 month after the original requested date. I preferred the earlier date and he was able to accommodate my date request. Overall I am satisfied with the completed work but I would not say overly impressed. The crew that came in was very polite and worked quickly. After the job was complete I have found many imperfections that are easily seen from a distance. Originally, I was told the job would be approximately 3-4 days. So I scheduled my week accordingly. The crew completed the job in 2 days which was slightly inconvenient as I had not planned on doing a detailed overview and walk through of the work 2 days in advance. Being that I had to be at a different destination at a specific time that could not be changed I had approximately 5-10 mins to walk the house. A $75 fee would have been accrued had I requested they come back on another day. There were two locations in which holes where filled and painted which were marked to be left. Costas did return to fix them with satisfaction but scheduling the return visit was difficult to confirm and last min. The specifics of work to be completed and prep work to be done was extremely detailed yet I have wall paint on a cabinet and many areas where the tape either pulled paint off near the trim or the tape did not prevent paint from getting on the trim. As well as nail pop and drywall work that needs better attention. I you have a larger place to paint and do not want to do it yourself it wouldnt be a horrible choice to go with Imperial. But if you are detail oriented I might suggest someone else. Overall the work was average.

In the early spring of 2015, I was looking for someone to remove wallpaper and paint a house that I had rented for several years. A lot of work was needed and I did not know where to find someone. Fortunately I found Costas and Imperial painting. This company is wonderful. Costas came over to the house to assess what needed to be done and to give me an estimate. His workers are careful, pay attention to details and do great work. Costas was very helpful and took time to answer my questions whether they were emails, texts or phone calls. One of the projects that had been scheduled to take place before painting, had to be delayed and I called Costas to ask if they could come earlier than planned, and he was able to accomodate my needs and that was very much appreciated. I had the whole house, all the doors and the basement painted. The work was completed in a little over a week. I was very impressed wtih the professional standards of this company. I cannot say enough about this company, except, excellent, excellent and Thank You, Thank You.

Costas and his crew did everything as promised at a fair and competitive price. First Costas came to our home to see what we wanted done. He helped us to decide on color selections and also made various recommendations on how the paint would look best applied to our walls which were glad he did. He then provided a completely professional bid process that thoroughly explained our project from start to finish. The Imperial Painting crew did a first class job on the entire interior of our home and they did it to our complete satisfaction. We had approached this project with some apprehension because we had always done our own painting in the past. However, our concerns were soon forgotten as the Imperial Paining crew was polite and they did a fantastic job from start to finish. We especially appreciated how they cleaned up every day after they completed their work for the day. Thanks Imperial Painting! About 10 years ago the aluminum siding on one side of our house was smoke damaged by an electrical short. Since the "harvest gold" siding was no longer available, we opted to have the entire house repainted. Googling for aluminum siding painters, Imperial Painting popped up at the top of the list. Costas Gogos, the owner, came out to show us what options were available and 10 years later the finish still looks great. During that time we have had Imperial back to pressure wash the house and presto! good as new! Since our initial meeting, we have remodeled literally every room in the house,... kitchen, living room, family room, bedrooms and Costas crew has done it all! Most recently (Oct 2016) they refinished our new backyard shed and it looks amazing! My wife and I both consider Costas a good friend who is always courteous, thorough and professional and his crew reflect those same values. Prices for their services is very fair and you would be hard pressed to find a better value or better workmanship than Imperial Painting.

It was a great pleasure doing business with Imperial Painting. Costas, Chris and the crew were very professional, courteous and strived for nothing short of excellence in transforming the exterior of my house to the best looking house in the neighborhood! The house had severe peeling and several rotted boards caused by the previous owner’s lack of proper home maintenance. However, thru Imperial Painting’s attention to detail and perfection, any issues were promptly addressed before the house was painted. Costas made sure the house was structurally sealed, able to withstand years of Michigan weather. Costas always contacted me, via text or e-mail, to keep me informed of the project aspects from start to finish. The crew always started on time and did an excellent job of cleaning up every day. I am so happy I chose Imperial Painting! Costas and his crew were wonderful! He did an exterior paint job (trim, shutters, doors, garage doors) and we had a LOT of rotten wood that needed to be replaced. He had his guys power wash and then the carpenter was out. Everything was prepped ready to go by the time they were ready to paint. My 20 year old home went from looking drab and in need of major work to looking practically brand new! They really did an exquisite job! The crew was punctual, courteous, and ready to work. I also got many updates on how the job was going and if any additional work (additional coat) was needed. I am so pleased with the way my family and I were treated during the entire process. Being a stay at home mom with 2 kids, being comfortable with the workers is important and it can be hard to find respectful and personable people these days. I would not hesitate to use Costas again and I will be recommending him to anyone I know that needs a painter.
