TOP NOTCH AND FAST SERVICE. I recently had an issue with the driver side window in my Mazda 3 where it wouldnt roll up all the way. I contacted the Mazda dealership where I purchased the car from (Ralph Thayer) and I was told that it would cost $100 to just inspect my car plus the service manager was not willing to discuss possible causes for the problem over the phone. I was recommended Goodard Auto Repair by a friend and I immediately called and spoke with Doug. He stated that it would only cost $37.50 to inspect the door/window and he took the time to discuss possible causes for the problem over the phone. I received a call back from him 15 minutes later with the prices for each scenerio, which were cheaper than I expected. In addition to the window, they also replaced my front brake pads and rotors. I saved $50 alone on the brake pads by going to Goddard Auto Repair (definately saved more if you take into account the window and the rotors). I definately will be taking my cars (present and future) to Goddard Auto Repair and I will definately be recommending them to my friends and family.

So my dad took his car to Goddard Auto whenever he had issues with it. Well when he got a new car he gave me his old one. About a month after I had it the back breaks went and needed to be replaced. I called my dad and asked him what to do. He told me to call Doug and take it in to them. I figured my car would be gone for days and that it would be super expensive but I was surprised that it was not at all. It was reasonable price wise and they only had my car for a few hours. I was impressed. Well the next day my car was making a terrible sound and so I called Doug and told him what it was doing, he said it sounded like one of the calipers was faulty. I told him I did not feel safe driving it out to him as it was dark and I have 2 small children. He told me no problem, not only did he send a tow truck to get it, but fixed it and I never had an issue with it after that. They are just a wonderful company and good people in general. I highly recommend them to anyone and everyone.

My father broke down on his way home to Mt Clemens from my home Kalamazoo on at Vinning Road on 94, Sunday night. AAA towed the first 5 miles for free, we wanted to keep the cost down so I looked for shops in the area of where his car was. Goddard was 9 miles away so I had it towed there, so glad I did, Today is Wednesday and hes already getting his car back, and he cant say enough good things about the owners, while neither of us are from the area, I will always recommend this shop to people who are.

If you need QUALITY, HONEST, AND GREAT WORK this is the place to go! Doug is a great guy and works with you the best he can. He is a VERY HONEST man and that is very rare now days. This is the only place I take my cars to get worked on and I never have the same problem twice because its fixed right the first time. Go there for your next repair, you wont regret it.

Goddard Auto Repair is the absolute best auto repair shop Downriver. I took my 1999 Olds Aurora to them because the dealer couldnt get it right. They repaired it first time and saved me over $1000, If you need your car repaired I highly recommend that you only go see Chuck and Doug over at Goddard Auto Repair.

Chuck and Doug have taken care of our cars for years - always very open about what problems needed fixing and how we could get the biggest bang for our repair buck. If the repair wasnt something they were familiar with, theyd tell us that too (for example, they dont repair diesel engines). Highly recommended.
