Just returned from having one of Curts Services techs take a look at my car, and do a quick test drive with me. First off, they make everything so easy. From the European Car magazine stack, to "have a drink on us while you wait" fridge, to the friendly and knowledgeable staff, just walking through the door was already a good feeling. Next to the service quality. They had a tech available within 3 minutes, and the tech was both friendly and very informative. Explained every pertinent point to me regarding what i was asking about, and was able to tentatively diagnose transmission/clutch issues by just listening. I say tentatively because no one can fully diagnose transmission issues without dropping the tranny. On top of that, the diagnosis was free of charge. I must have asked him 100 questions, and he had a great answer for all of them, and did not try to rush me away. Also, they are not strangers to modified cars, so if you have a tuned car you dont want the dealer to touch and need great service, this is where you need to go. They left me pleasantly surprised and will definitively take my car for service there. Thumbs up for some good folks!!!

I dont write reviews but I had to share. The overall shop is well maintained and the people are polite but thats about it! If you take your car here prepare to bend over! Especially if you have no car knowledge. Their pricing is ridiculous. Charged me over $700 to replace a wheel bearing?? Do they know most people have the internet and can check the pricing of the parts?? Im all about being fair and understand you have to make a profit but cmon man! Then they called me in the middle of the repair and asked if I would like my brake pads replaced for a cost of $400?? Are you people serious? You already have one of the calipers off when repairing the wheel bearing. Why would it cost that amount of money for brake pads?? If I didnt need my truck so fast and wasnt at a lost for time I would have never let them touch it! Lesson Learned and I hope you dont fall Victim to these predators! Rant over

There arent enough stars for me to rate Curts Svc. I swung into Curts after a very unprofessional experience with an auto mechanic. Although I dont have children, my car is like my baby and I cant say enough about how comfortable I felt with her being in their care. They more than took care of my car. There wasnt a detail that they missed. This is impressive to me. Even the little things were taken care of. They are incredibly courteous, friendly, knowledgeable, honest, caring and concerned. I was blown away from the first day. Its unfortunate that this type of business is extraordinary and a rarity. but Im glad that I have found Curts and I will not go anywhere else-no matter what car I have. Every person I came in contact with all exhibited the traits mentioned above. They are awesome, to say the least. They have a customer for life. Thank you Curts.

I started working with Curts service about 2 years ago and I have always been impressed with their service and expertise. I dont know much about cars and I thought that the dealership was the only place that has all the propery tools and diagnostic capabilities to fix my cars. I have now learned that Curts Service seems to know more about my cars, they have every tool imaginable and they definitely have better service than any dealer I have ever been to. Most importantly they have always been compassionate about my situation and I never feel like they are taking advantage of me being in a bad car situation. At first I was shopping around checking their prices and Ive always found them to be about the same if not better priced than most reputable shops. Thanks guys for always taking care of me. - Jay

We have been taking our cars to Curts Service for a number of years. They are always thorough, professional, and accommodating -- and always explain the problem and the short and long term fixes. Recently I was having a recurring but intermittent problem with my brakes. We determined it was potentially a warranty issue and they wrote a complete report to give to the dealership. When the local dealer was not recognizing the problem and unwilling to discuss it with Curts, the manager at Curts used his personal contacts at another dealership. He called ahead, shared all the data they collected, and made sure that the dealership identified and problem and all the required fixes -- about $1000.00 worth of warranty work! Thank you, Curts!!

Curts Service was absolutely THE BEST! in sponsoring a Car Care Clinic for the Michigan Council of Women in Technologys Connect Net Network Forum in June. The Service Staff - after hours - walked us through a FANTASTIC demonstration of basic car maintenance on our own vehicles and also answered all the questions on the participants minds with great factual knowledge-sharing and care so that we would best know how to handle situations we would encounter - from road emergencies to maintenance/car care in the Service Center. Curts attention to detail in ensuring the session ran with EXCELLENCE and the Centers great "GIVE-BACK-TO- THE-COMMUNITY" approach on this event is EXTREMELY ADMIRABLE and GREATLY APPRECIATED by all who attended!

I have a 2002 saturn vue, Check Engine Light / Reduced Power light on, + all kinds of other sensor issues. Curts service worked with me, Scanned my computer for a discounted rate, and told me probably what i needed to do in order to fix the car my self. And sure enough a 3 dollar can of Carb&Choke cleaner fixed my Throttle Body, Fixed my Misfire, Cleaned my O2 Sensors, IN turn fixing my transmission because the transmission works off throttle position, and because mine fully electronic (fly by wire) throttle body is now clean it works right sending the proper data to the ECM/BCM/TCM. Thanks guys for the outstanding service. - Everyone here at Universal Plumbing Supply uses Curts Service.

I paid over $1,000 for a diagnostic, tune up, battery and oil change on a 2001 Ford Sport Trac. The battery alone was $149, and no, it doesnt sing and dance. Labor accounted for half of the bill, which friends and family have subsequently told me may have been enough time to replace the transmission instead. As best I can tell the work that was done was fine, but I urge you to check around and see how much a tune-up should be, and decide for yourself, if $1,000 is a good deal and if you are prepared to pay that kind of premium on whatever service you may need. The local Ford dealership has amazing service, and possibly, even lower prices.

Curt, Andy, and the whole team are some of the most honest people in the business. They will not try to up-sell you and present you with all options when a repair is actually needed. When my alternator died, the car battery also needed replacement. I usually do that kind of work myself, but because they were already working on the alternator and wanted to make sure the electrical system was finished together, they put the battery in at their cost. You will pay the same rates here as at at dealership, but youll get MUCH better service and knowledge with these guys. Highly recommended to anyone.
