I used the $25 off $50 service coupon to perm my shoulder length hair. Jody was my stylist. Total cost: $55 + tip. I rate this salon below average because the perm was sloppy. There were several sections that were not curly at all. Also, when I spoke with the manager today, she claimed that their products were ammonia free! She didnt know that their products actually contain ammonia (just in lower amounts to preserve colored hair). Bottom line: If you are going to get your hair permed, go to another stylist. If you want to go to a salon that knows what products they work with, go to a different salon. Follow up: Went back to the store today and got my money back. They wanted me to have Jody re-do the section I was unhappy with. Unbelieveable because you are supposed to wait to use perm chemicals for at least 2 weeks! Unless of course you want fried hair...

I have been waxing my eyebrow arch for many years. I decided to give beauty first a try because it was convenient. The wax girl was extremely paranoid and tried to talk me into tweezing from the get go. I went for the wax, after the first strip she started getting even more paranoid that my skin was gone! So I am laying there and she is telling me, “I just don’t think you are a good candidate for waxing”. She then proceeds to tweeze the remaining, claiming she is really good with the tweezers. It was more painful than a bikini wax. I felt like she would grab a hair pull it a little let off and then pull it out. FINALLY 45 minutes in and her tweezing my skin pretty good I stood up and said, “I am done”. I went home paying my $30 half done. I have never been more upset leaving an appointment.

i went in with an exact picture of myself from a year ago and told Jennea that i wanted that hair back. my hair turned out purple red, not dark brown and after 2 years growing it out she cut it all off when the picture had longer then shoulder length. i cant even put it in a pony tail now. she also dyed my eye brows. i look like an oompa loompa. my eyesbrows are dark purple and huge looking then she tells me to put foundation on them to "set up". she was just trying to cover her mistake. NEVER GO HERE! horrible horrible experiene
