been doing business with this company for a couple of years now, and recently ran into a glitch with an order that was not handled properly. When I initially placed the original order on the 18th IN PERSON, all was well and verified. I anticipated the arrival and after two weeks, I figured something was wrong. I checked my email for a tracking # and found out that my order was shipped to the wrong address and the wrong City!!! How could this have happened when an order was placed in person and verified not only by the the person inputting the information, but more importantly, by me the consumer?! So I called Utley with the original order infront of me 2-wks after I had placed it to let them know I did not received my order and also informed them that it was sent to a wrong address. The lady on the phone was not at all apologetic of the circumstance. She did, however, later offered to reprint the original order and have it shipped right away and assured me that I will have receipt of it by the following Friday. I had asked to see if theres any way they could expedite my order and was told that they will only process as originally ordered. So you cant accommodate the customer for the error made on your part? I asked to speak to the manager to see if he/she can do anything at all to make this happen and I would be suffice and continue to do business with Utley Bros. I was then told to hold, and only after a period of holding, the lady who at this point, was not only apologetic but now spoke with tone, told me she would call me back in a "few minutes"...never happened. So now, another week will pass til I supposedly will receive my order- finally? It is now Monday, and still no box. Called today, and spoke to 2 ladies who did their best to fix the matter and assured me the package will arrive tomorrow. Great! I asked to speak to the sup. or mgr. so I could let them know that what I experienced I did not want others to experience as well and their customer service is a reflection of the company they represent. I was told they dont have managers or supervisors...hmm. All the times I had asked to speak to one they dont have one. Now theyre having their " Team Leader" call me back. First of all, Dont Lie! You lose credibility not only for yourself, but for the company as well. 2nd, return calls in a timely manner so I dont think youre just jerking me around...and you and company both lose even more credibility! 3rd, handle customers with respect and and act as if youre job and the companys future depends on your performance. Keep the integrity of your employer. If you dont like your current "J.O.B." please find another one where you can better serve people, dont stay at one where youre negativity pours onto the customers you speak to. Contribute or youd be a liability! As much as I would like to continue doing business with Utley Bros., its unfortunate I will take my business somewhere else where its appreciated. Remember, businesses are built on relationship marketing not ads.

I’ve used Utley Brothers Printing for over 20 years. They’ve consistently provided good service for me, the different business I’ve worked for and different positions I’ve held. Initially, my orders with them included only a few boxes of business cards. More recently, they helped me with logo design, full-color printing projects and even provided much needed advice on an international fundraising campaign. When I needed some promotional bookmarks expedited to a fundraising event, Utley Brothers went the extra-mile and personally delivered them. (Their owners even donated to the fundraising effort!) I’ve been amazed how Utley Brothers has evolved with the ever changing printing environment while not losing touch with their early printing roots. It makes me smile when I see one of Detroit’s new companies, Shinola, carrying Utley Brothers’ products. It seems that they too have discovered the truth; "fine quality never goes out of style".
