My first experience with this Meineke location was after the Kia dealership in Southfield wasnt able to get the part for my vehicle for two days....of course, they could get the part the next day if I wanted to pay the $50 next day delivery fee! I called Meineke and explained my situation to Steve and he asked me to come on in....and when I got there about 25 minutes later, he had already picked up the part and my Kia was ready in just over an hour...and at a much more reasonable price than the dealership. Also if I needed it, Meineke offered a loaner car...the dealershio did not and does not offer these. After this great experience with Meineke, I returned for another problem a few months later and it was quickly diagnosed. This repair required leaving the vehicle for a couple days and I was able to use one of their loner cars. I was also very satisfied with them on this second occasion. My most recent experience was last week when my check engine light came on and Steve was able to diagnose the problem in about 10 minutes....needed new catalytic converter. Since I was thinking about possibly getting a new used vehicle for my drive and move to San Francisco, Steve recommended that I not put any more money into the Kia. I took his advice. I highly recommend this Meineke location! Great service, competitive pricing, and honest people who work there!

Very pricey, unknowable, and rude. Tried to sell me performance parts that were lesser in performance than the OEM stock parts and charged me a ridiculous amount of money 50-60% profit margin (Compared to other shops/online prices)!!! Very dishonest. This shop is probably fine if youre just getting a oil change, but if youre a car enthusiast they will blow your mind with their ignorance. Ask them what understeer, threshold breaking, liftoff oversteer, etc. is and see the stupid look on their face. TERRIBLE! WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THESE PEOPLE! STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS! GO TO MAIDAS ON ORCHARD LAKE ROAD.

I got my front brakes replaced here. when I got a quote first time, they had given different estimate and other information like warranty on rotor and pads. after 2 weeks, I visit them to get the service. This time a different estimate and I got no assurance on part warranties. I still went ahead with servicing the vehicle. Once I come to pay for it, I was told that there is a warranty on rotor and pads as well. I had to wait there about 1:40 hrs as they did not order the part in spite of me calling in advance and booking the appointment. Visit some other Meineke. I would avoid this one in future.

I have to admit this was the most pleasant experience I have ever encountered while obtaining an oil change. The young lady and gentleman at the counter were extremely nice, professional and accommodating. I visited this specific location (location near me was booked) as I was partaking in the promotion that T-Mobile was offering. With that being said I will continue to frequent this location for all my future oil changes. Furthermore, the two individuals that assisted me are most certainly an asset to the Meineke brand. (I believe they were the owners)

Always had good experiences with this shop but yesterday Steve went out of his way to stay late when I told him I was in the military and needed the car for the next day to travel to my next duty station in Kansas. He found the exact problems with my car, fixed them in a timely manner, and even stayed late after hours to made sure I had my car for the next day. Words cant describe how impressed I was by him and his professionalism and I will definitely do all I can to acknowledge it. Email to his supervisors coming soon if possible. THANKS AGAIN STEVE!!

Had just turned my lease car in and was driving home in the family car. Two blocks from home the brakes start acting up. Came home and starting researching local repair facilities. Im so glad I came upon Meineke in Walled Lake. Exceptionally pleasant people, and fast and fair servicing/pricing. Their waiting room is as comfy as home and once they had our vehicle diagnosed they offered us a loaner until it was fixed. (And they had it fixed that very same day!!) We were extremely pleased and highly recommend them.

Although the experience of getting your car repaired is never pleasant, the service was excellent. Steve gave me a complete explanation and made sure that I understood which recommended repairs were necessary both for the longevity of my vehicle and the safety of myself and my passengers. He came highly recommended, and I can understand why: top notch service both for my auto and for the customer, and reasonable prices. I will be returning if/when future work is needed on my car.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Steve is a real class act. He ripped me off and when I confronted him he became a coward (his story changed and he tried to put the blame on everyone else BUT him). He told me to call him back and we would discuss further how he could fix the problems he caused but then "conveniently" he was always out or too busy to answer my call. These people are big time scammers. If you want to be ripped off then by all means go here.

Ive taken my car(s) here for several years and the service is fantastic! My car lasted 20 years thanks to their repair skills in all areas- engine, ignition, exhaust, electrical, brakes, suspension, etc. They have been very transparent about their assessment of my cars faulty parts, the cost-benefit of the repairs, and any warrantee to purchase with the new parts. The couches they provide for customers are super-comfy too.

Steve took great care of my car. He had to do another estimate on my repairs because another associate lost my paperwork but the job was done well, my car rides wonderfully and Steve was a stand up guy about holding my car for me until I could get it out a few days later. I would definitely do business with this establishment because of Steve and the other wonderful mechanics on staff!

The employees are professional and polite. I did not feel taken advantage of; they were completely honest with me. I had to go twice in a row due to unrelated issues with my car, and both times they had it fixed and ready within the next few hours. Everyone is sweet, accommodating, and definitely on your side! I would recommend Meineke over anywhere else to get your car repaired.

I took my car there for brake work and I will never go anywhere else. The guys took extra good care of me and my car. they took the time to explain what was wrong and what was needed and answered every question that I had in full detail. I wish there were more shops that went out of the way like this one did.

steve and paul stayed late and picked us up after closing so we wouldnt have to go another day without a car. they went the extra mile for us. I believe this to be normal for them and not the exception. honest,dependable and timely service. clean shop. I would highly recommend them to everyone.

The service at this location was excellent. I took my HHR in to check on an indicator light & get my oil changed. The guys at this Meineke are very thorough, & they found other components that needed attention before they could cause a major problem. A job well done, thank you again!
