To: Anyone thinking of taking their vehicle to this transmission shop. I took a 2001Dodge Intrepid to this shop after my transmission blew up near Huron River Drive. The owner gave us options of a brand new trans or to get a rebuilt trans and proceeded to give us a list of trans rebuilding shops he did business with. We opted for the rebuilt after being told it should be as good as new. Needless to say the trans blew up after about 4 months and when we complained we were told from Accurate Transmission that they only guarantee their installation work; the rebuilt trans person said the installation was sloppy and so they would not guarantee the trans. We were caught in the middle with no recourse but to have the car fixed elsewhere. The new repair shop said the installation was not correct and that is what caused the trans to blow again. It has been one year since the second shop did the repair and the car is still running great. When I went in to file a complaint I was told to leave their premises. BUYER BEWARE!!!

Dont waste your time with this place. I brought my car in Monday morning at 9am like (Daryl) told me to do when I called Saturday and spoke to him about my trans issue. So when I get there I tell (Daryl) that I have to pick my car up at 1pm so I can go to work, my intentions were to have it diagnosed bring it back Friday and let them have at it. Well I get there at 1pm to only find a note saying be back soon out to lunch and my car sitting in the exact place I left it. So in the 4 hours that my car was with these people nobody decided to take a peek at it, apparently they must be rolling in money that they can afford to waste customers time and turn away business.

I am a racer with a 600hp Mustang using a C4 trans (9.90s). Accurate setup the transmission and it has worked flawlessly. I just returned the transmission for a freshen up after 2 years of racing and no broken parts or problems, just a clean up and new wear parts and it is back in my hands. They do excellent racing transmissions and if I run into a problem with my daily driver, this is where I would take it. They are a busy group, so if you need it in a hurry, make sure they know and you remind them.
