We needed to store belongings for our three daughters & roommates during the summer until they moved into their new apartments. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating, even when we misjudged and started out with a unit that was much too small. When we finally had the larger unit filled and went to lock it, we discovered the latch was nearly impossible to slide open and closed. By then it was after hours and the manager (who lives on site) was gone. We called the 800 number, and he came right away to fix it. We stopped by the unit 1-2 times a month during the summer to add or remove items. Whenever I noticed anything was broken, such the plates that hold the door open or a flat tire on a cart, the problem was fixed the next time I stopped in. I found the staff friendly and efficient when it came to final checkout. The price was sigificantly higher than what I paid at a different facility the previous summer, but that site did not have 24-hour access and was not as well maintained. Extra Space was offering the first month free when I signed up, so that helped lower the total cost for 4 months. WhenI needed to keep the unit an extra week, I paid the fifth months rent but then got a pro-rated refund upon checkout.

Jeff and Chris are very friendly, helpful and professional. I wasnt able to utilize the unit for several weeks and they held the price and the unit for me until I was ready. They are more than happy to help...pallets are available as well, no extra charge. So far the experience has been fine and the unit is maintained well; salted and shoveled on the outside as needed. The insulation on the ceiling of the unit is torn in one spot, and the dust is a problem so cover your items well! Again, Jeff is always willing to help, good guy.

We stored our belongings here during the marketing of our house and for a short time between moves. Every time I talked with someone in the office that person was very friendly and I didnt feel like they were rushing through dealing with me. They worked to help us find the best unit to fit our needs and managed to get our second unit close to our first unit, which was very helpful for moving everything out. The gate access seemed secure and we didnt worry at all about everything we owned being there.

*Update* Im looking up the national average as I go back and this place is super expensive for a 5x5. I didnt need much extra storage for my girlfriend but $100 is a rip off. The place is still clean and staff is professional but as of my last visit not always friendly. Still in my top 5 places to go in the area. Old post 8/16/16 Friendly helpful and professional people here! If your looking for storage this is the place to go!

Ive been using Extra Storage Space for about 3 years now, and really enjoy their service. The staff is nice, friendly, and helpful. My only problem is lately the price has increased to almost $80 a month for one of their smaller sizes. It used to be half this price when I first began using ESS. Lately Ive been considering ending my service with them because oft he pricey fees. Over all, I would still recommend them to friends.

DO NOT RENT HERE!! Its a scam. Like one of the earlier posts they DO NOT prorate. They charged me for an entire month and I was only there for 11 days on my last month. I called customer service twice to seek a refund and was told that someone would call me back. Of course I never got a call back. This place is a rip off. I wish I would have taken my business elsewhere!!

Ike assisted me with my lease and was very professional. I was extremely pleased with the facility! Well maintained grounds and they keep up with the salt/snow removal as well as keeping it very clean. The storage unit pricing were the best in the area. Ike helped to make sure I was getting the best deal for the size unit I needed. Would highly recommend to everyone!

Jeramy helps manage the place and he was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. The facility is very clean, the rates are fair, and its in a great part of town. I had a large truck coming to deliver my property to the site and the truck was able to get in and out with ease. Site was much cleaner than other sites we had looked into. Excellent experience at Extra Space Storage. Used to store my college sons things while in transition from one apartment to another.
