Midas is superlative! 5K Stars!!! I am a young family man who never has an extra dollar to spend and Midas makes it possible. Their superior service has kept me coming back for over four years now. I remember being a concerned ~20 year old worried about getting taken for my money when I first met these fine fellows. My concerns were immediately alleviated by their sharp senses of observation, opinion, and overall skill. They put my car on the lift and put the problem right in front of me to see with my own eyes every time. If YOU are interested, they share perspective on the issue and WHY the solution will resolve it. Like with computers, it is very fine to have someone comfortable who can show you why and how before mistakes are made. Give them a try. Call them and describe your problem. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!!

I went in because I heard the usual brake pad wear indicator sounds a few weeks back and wanted to be sure I was safe for the holiday road trips. I had Midas brake pads from 75,000 miles before (no warranty somehow though they were installed in NV). The car has 153,000mi. They were very honest, I ended up getting front rotors but it was no upsell on their part to make a profit. They showed me the book with the safety guidelines and measured them they both definitely needed replaced right away as they were the original rotors. They also honestly told me the rear brakes assembly did not need anything replaced now. The wait was 2.5 hours, and the waiting room was pretty cold but the customer service is good. I have driven 100 miles since and no problems, works great. Would recommend, seems trustworthy.

I have found my dependable auto shop in the A2/Ypsi area. Your life is so much easier once you have someone you trust that can tell you what your car honestly needs and help you get it done without overcharging you. You cant trust most auto repair places. But Bob, the manager, and everyone here are friendly, helpful, and honest. I have come here for years with various cars, and at this point Bob knows me and always goes out of his way for me. This is the local neighborhood shop that tends not to exist anymore. Bring your car here and just explain whats wrong! Theyll do the rest.

I could go on for hours about the love and respect for the men that work here. IF YOU LIVE IN THE AREA YOU SHOULD BE COMING HERE FOR AUTO WORK. They are honest and are willing to describe whatever work needs to be done. I always feel informed and like Im making the best decision for my car. They have worked with me on multiple occasions when Im short on cash and need work done. I have never had an auto shop treat me so well. Midas is my go to and recommendation for everyone I know.

I made an appointment to have my brakes looked at and to have my vehicle inspected, and basically wasted my time. I was told what they "thought" may be wrong with my brakes and given an outrages price, and couldnt even do a vehicle inspection due to the inspection machine not being there. I made an appointment a week in advance for no reason.... Not to mention one of the mechanics left the shop because his dog had puppies.... Ill never go here again!

Specifically made an appointment so I wouldnt have to wait long as we have a three week old. All I needed was a patch of a tire and oil change With an appt- arriving 15 min early-- I stil had to wait more than an hour AND the tire repair machine is broken- would have loved a phone call. Now I still cant drive my baby around. Poor service for someone who has a appt. Update-- came back as instructed and have been sitting waiting for 1.5 hours...

These guys have always taken great care of me -- and I can tell they are honest. My favorite thing so far is that they seem to be value conscious and will not over quote you for something you dont need. While other places would have me replace all four wheels and tires when I had an issue with one wheel (pothole damage), these guys fixed the rim on the wheel and saved me a lot of money. Works great.

I visited Midas based upon the positive reviews I have seen on google. They were prompt and ontime when describing lead time for repair. In addition, they were refreshingly honest and upfront about the repairs. Furthermore, they were kind enought to allow me to hang out and watch them repair my vehicle. Their friendly and honest service will keep me coming back.

Very awesome people here. Straightforward and communicative. They were able to ascertain the problem very quickly and were able to work with me and my budget to find a solution that would get me on the road again. I was out the door within less than 2 hours, which is significantly less that I have experience with in past automotive repairs. I highly recommend them.

Just left there and they are FANTASTIC! Had it towed at 130pm and just picked it up at 430pm. Had my water pump replaced and they gave me an estimate and I paid under the estimated price! Bob and the other mechanics made me feel like I was apart of their family. They are great at communicating and they will not rip you off. Dont go anywhere else!!!!

I just moved to Ypsilanti recently and I was cautious going into a new mechanic. These guy are very friendly and they dont BS people. They dont try to sell you stuff you dont need. Twice I went in to get my car checked and they didnt even charge me. I would recommend these guys to anyone in the area. Also they have the cheapest oil change around.

The manager Paul is a strait shooter, very knowledgeable and runs a clean shop. They do good work at fair prices. Just seeing a national brand no longer guarantees great service. Its nice that your warranty will travel, but getting what you need fixed without the ubiquitous upsell is rare and refreshing.

Went here to get an oil change, tire rotation and tire repair, they couldnt get the tire repair done bc the tire repair machine was down, took it back a couple days later to get the tire rotation and tire repair done, took a bit longer then expected so they did those free of charge! Great car shop!

Ive been here twice now for a tire replacement and oil change. They seem pretty busy usually since the parking lot is often full and you might be waiting around to be greeted for 10 min or so, but the employees are on top of things with fast turnaround.

Took my Chrysler 200 in for an alignment and it took them 4hrs to figure out they couldnt do the work cause their machine Is not updated for the 200? What, Really? Dont use them at all.

These guys are horrible. Tried to extort $1400.00 for non issues during a safety expecting. Save your money and go somewhere else.
