Ive always wanted to be the type of person who loved the gym, hit new PRs weekly, lose a bunch of weight, and who was actually strong. I tried homes videos, gym memberships, and long walks but nothing really made a difference. I generally eat healthy due to have celiac disease so that was never really my problem. But putting cliches to the side... In Motion Fitness (more importantly... the people at In Motion Fitness) changed my life. The intimate, personalized training (while working out with a bunch of fun people) wakes me up every morning! The gym is the highlight of my day! I cant wait to get there and push myself. Im not kidding you... I literally drip sweat every workout but dont feel like the workouts are impossible. I challenge myself everyday and I have an entire cheer squad behind me! I even need someone to pull the reins on me every once in a while because my confidence has skyrocketed and I feel invincible! The personal trainers (Megan, Andrew, Penny, Dane, and Jermey) ALL know my strengths and weaknesses. In fact, they know me better than I know myself. This gym has become my family. There is a lot of smiles, sweat, and cheering going on here. And when I say family.... I truly mean it. Its a family affair. Megan and Andrew put up a ton of time and money to host a benefit for my mother-in-law who comes to the gym. She has ovarian cancer and in-between chemo sessions shes here every day! If thats not motivation and inspiration, I dont know what is! Its addicting and you cannot get enough! Come try our crazy fun, encouraging family out and I promise you wont be disappointed! I know my husband and I will never be leaving! We are here for the long haul!!!

I have been to a lot of different workout facilities looking for the right mix of a solid workout combined with the accountability of motivated and friendly people who care about form and proper movement. Most of the large gyms have people walking around looking for suckers who will pay for personal training, but ignore all those people who use lousy form or who use machines improperly. That is NOT the case at In Motion. Here, everyone gets access to skilled professionals who correct movements, challenge individual limits and provide clear instructions for every one of the group exercises. Each person is challenged to excel at their own pace, but not pushed so hard that they risk injury. I personally have had some pretty serious back issues and every day the trainers are helping me to modify the exercises to accommodate my back while challenging me to reach beyond my current state. Their goal is to make exercise a way of life and sustainable, not to get huge muscles (well, not only- although that could be a by-product if you stick with it long enough). Perhaps the best part of this gym is the accountability to the other members for just showing up. It truly is a community of dedicated and friendly folks. If youre looking for a great place to belong, a friendly bunch of faces to sweat with first thing in the morning or a killer workout, you can find them all in this one place.

In Motion Fitness is a gem! It brings a unique approach in that it combines both group training and workouts that are smart and progressive. Ive known both these owners for almost a year when I started my fitness journey. The trainers have a knack and passion for taking people where they are in their fitness(or just starting) and moving them forward. They pay careful attention to your form and core. They are able to create the workouts that are both challenging and enjoyable. I am in the best shape Ive ever been. Its not about what I look like, but how I feel. I feel strong and Im happy that I take time out of my day to make a positive choice in staying healthy. Starting this journey a year ago was hard and in the beginning I felt miserable, but I knew it would be worth it. The group fitness dynamic has people at all levels of fitness so you dont feel like you dont fit in. The camaraderie that develops within group training is a great motivating and encouraging force.

I dont have enough great words to say about In Motion Fitness. The owners are top notch and have a great vision and the best interest of each of their clients in mind. Every trainer is personable and wants each individual to achieve their goals. They truly want what is best for each person who walks through their door. I will forever be dealing with back issues and I am confident that the trainers will never allow me to be in an incorrect position and they modify any movement that irritates my back. While it is a group fitness class, you get one on one personal attention throughout the entire workout. Coming to the gym is more than just a workout; it is a time to catch up with friends and have a great time. I love it here and am so glad to be a part of this amazing community.

In Motion Fitness is more than just a gym - its a community of unique individuals who are at different stages in their fitness journey. And this community has changed the way I approach heath and fitness. I used to be in a perpetual cardio cycle, working out on my own and never really pushing myself beyond my comfort zone. I was intimidated by the free weight area of my "big box" gym, feeling that I didnt belong. After 6 months at In Motion, they have given me (and many others!) the confidence and skills to move beyond my cardio routine. In Motion Fitness is my happy place. After years of working out on my own I hit a plateau. These group classes have taken my fitness to a whole new level. The trainers are knowledgeable and attentive and make sure were doing the movements safely and with proper form. They have pushed me beyond anything I would have ever thought I was capable of and cheered me on the whole time. Im in the best shape of my life thanks to In Motion. The community is amazing too. There are no big egos looking to prove something or show off. People encourage each other and laugh together throughout the workouts. Ive never had so much fun working out! It is just a fact that there is NO OTHER GYM in the metro like In Motion Fitness. There just isnt!! The variety of strength and conditioning exercises makes every workout unique. Youll find lots of muscles youve been neglecting that you didnt know you had!!! This place will get you HOOKED! Great atmosphere and experienced trainers make each challenging workout a great way to hit your fitness goals. The personalized coaching during the session is awesome, and there is a real emphasis on correct form and technique and continual learning. Even long-time members learn something new every week! There is just no better way to start your day!!

My first month at In Motion Fitness has been a great experience. I feel stronger, have more energy and flexibility. The group training is not only a challenging workout, but a nice balance of fun, encouragement, competition and creativity. Every day has been different. Trainers Megan, Andrew and Dane take the time to provide quality instruction and have been highly motivating. It is evident they really enjoy what they do and love to share it with others. Gym members are welcoming and encouraging. Andrew and Megan have truly created a gym with a great atmosphere that works for all fitness levels and ages. I am definitely coming back for more.
