Upon calling the West St. Paul location to inquire about transferring locations. I was told that I could do so easily, and was given a better monthly fee than my current Anytime Fitness location. Great! All I had to do was fill out the paperwork. After two months of waiting for the paperwork, I filled it out and returned it. Two weeks later, I asked if the transfer went through. Josh, the manager said it was turned down because my address had not changed. He also informed me that the owner of my current AF location had to approve my transfer. I asked why anyone would have to "approve" me transferring membership? He said, "take it up with the other location" I asked, why did this take so long to determine and why did none of the management staff here know this? He said, "what difference does it make?" It makes a difference because its where I wish to work out, and its a better monthly fee. He said, "you already have a monthly fee and that cannot be changed! That is the policy!" I asked several times to see the policy, and he started berating so loudly that everyone in the club could hear him. I then asked him if he was this rude and unprofessional to all the members and he said, "its not my concern." Well then, I wish to talk to the Owner of this location. "he is not available, and cannot give out his number!" Ok then, how about an e-mail address?? "He does not have one, and you cannot have it!! But I will give him your number, and have him call you!" Perfect! What number do you have on file for me? I want to be sure you have it. He then responded, "it doesnt matter now does it? He will call you!!" Truthfully, I wanted to drop him in his tracks, but took the high road and decided to wait for the owner to call me. Well, its been two weeks now and nobody will return my calls. Best of luck if you sign up here!!

Dont even bother with this Gym. It was really nice when I was using it - facilities were clean and people were friendly, but once my contract expired it was a nightmare to cancel the service. I understand not being able to cancel your membership in the middle of a contract, but it should NOT be this hard to stop charges once your contract EXPIRES. The overall information sharing and account management for this service is HORRIFYING. There is no easy way to maintain contact or billing information and I had NO idea there was a web portal (granted, an incomplete impossible to use one) or a service line until 6 months into my membership! And dont even get me started with how frequently this gym changes hands. Expect your information to be lost, your call to never be returned, and for what little service you do get to be extremely inconsistent. Run, dont walk, away from this gym. Try a local, non-commercial club; much fewer headaches.

Key didnt work at other locations. They "fixed" it and it still didnt work. Then they remodeled for 2 weeks and we had no access to this gym or any other. This location will tweak every bit of your contract against you. Manager Randi Hudson wont accept notice to cancel contract because it is a few months early and she says "I might lose your papers." The manager at Anytime on Grand Ave. will cancel your contract with an e-mail. My advice: transfer your contract to another branch. Absolutely disgusted with W. St. Paul Anytime Fitness.

Anytime Fitness West St. Paul, MN is a really great place to be. The manager, Randi Hudson, maintains a positive, encouraging atmosphere in this gym at all times, as do most members. I found success in working out there each day while living in West St. Paul, and my results are visible in my current appearance and performance. As a bonus, I met a variety of people, many of which became great friends/workout buddies of mine. The gym itself may be on the small side, but it has all the necessary equipment for a great workout.

Ive been a member at the West St. Paul Anytime Fitness for over 2 years now. I love the gym & the trainers! During that time, I lost over 85 pounds. The support from the staff as well as the fun environment helped me get to my dream weight. Now, Im living a healthy life. I could not have done it without the Anytime Fitness staff! The gym was recently renovated and it looks great! Thank you ATF!

The West St. Paul is my favorite Anytime Fitness! Its fun, rewarding and a great place to go. I travel quite a bit for work so I get to go to numerous locations throughout the U.S. A lot of the locations are quite similar and nice but I always look forward to coming back home to my Anytime! Staff and trainers are eager to help - I wish I could take them with me when I travel!!

I like the hours of operation, not happy with removal of machines that myself and others used every visit. Older persons can not use the weights like some think are better. I disagree for persons rehabbing after surgeries or to maintain function with arthritis. I do not like the resistence bands they claim are better.

This is the worst gym I have ever been to. They dont let you cancel your membership and they make you feel forced to go. I would advise you NOT to start a member ship there unless you plan on staying for two years! I am at the point where I am ready to snap.
