I took my son there this morning before going to work. And he went in with his guest pass and the young girl that is very rude and irritant said have you been her before and my son said yes it had been a while do you remember phone number you made a reservation with and give the girl the number. After the girl which seems not to have economical ability human ethics what ever the girl ever told him that we do not see him in the system. You can wait for 15 minutes for the sales person to come around . My son said ok can I go and use the bathroom to fresh in up because he has to also go to work as well by 9:30 a.m this morning she said no She did not even ability ask for do you want tea do you any snacks no community skills at all Very racist and destiny destroyer People that have great future she wants take the gift and put it into bondage and liability and disgrace them for absolutely no reason. She took rude self and went to the sales to destroy my son and disgrace him while he was sitting and waiting. She pretended like it was nothing It is very serious that attack that happen it is not a joke . This demonic spirit of division that the girl is trying to destroy people that has great future because she things she is somebody will never raise against my family my children my finance In Jesus name I do not liability of disappointing or curse that just arise for no reason. That girl will never never in her life did what she is trying to do in her life time ever that we live on this earth The god Elijah god of Isaiah come down and destroy evil error or arrow from north the west east and south the wants to destroy the great by destroyed. I am very sure that she does not have ownership or title to know the rubbish and caliber nonsense racist behavior that she is doing She is not community support or empowerment she is liability anothers future.

If you are looking for a clean gym with a reasonable price tag than this is your place. Just be aware, if you need customer service of any kind, stay away, far away. I signed up for Personal Training at this gym and was happy enough for the first 4 months. Then they had a shortage of trainers and I was unable to use my sessions during a time that worked within my schedule. Trainers are only available Monday through Friday, not on weekends, and during the summer of 2015 they only had 1 trainer on staff. I put up with this for about 8 weeks until another trainer was assigned to the gym but that trainer stood me up. I asked the front desk where the trainer was and "they didnt know" so I worked out on my own for an hour waiting for her, she never showed. When I went looking for answers I was given the run around, promised phone calls from the VP that never came, and was greeted with rude employees at every turn. After finally getting in touch with corporate, and a few more failed promises at phone calls from the VP, I finally was able to get in contact with him (10 days of phone tag later). I concluded that this company does not respect their customers and wanted to cancel my plan. The VP let me out of the contract without a buy out but did not refund any of the sessions I was unable to use due to the unavailability of trainers in his gym. He would not even refund the 4 sessions I was billed for while he was not returning my phone calls. Bottom line - this company will expect you to uphold your end of the contract but they do not have the uphold their end. They do not need to speak to you with respect or answer your questions in a timely manner. If you dont need to deal with customer service at all, then this gym might be okay. But if you do, then good luck.

It has been three weeks since this has happened, and I wanted to "cool down" before posting this review, but every time I think about the way I was treated it makes me want to puke. I was assaulted at this gym and by the time I left I was the one feeling like I was the one in the wrong. There was even an employee who was so rude to me because I was upset and he was unable to calm me down, he then walks over to the person who assaulted me and said he "get why you did it, I would have done the same thing". I would like to mention that I am white and there was not one person working there that was white...makes me wonder...I am not racist but am beginning to think that they are. I would never bring this up if I did not feel this way. I dont care what the circumstances were surrounding this issues, the MAN put his hands on me, left bruises and these assholes took his side. Be careful of this place, especially if you are white. I also believe that some of these reviews are from the staff so their gym wont look like such a crap place to go. I cant believe that with this many bad reviews they are still at a 3.3 rating. YOUR GYM SUCKS!

Ive been a member here for a few years, and have yet to see an improvement in the customer service. I got a friend to join and I inquired about a referral bonus (which many other businesses offer) and received a very condescending response from one of the salesmen. He told me to wait and came back with a five cent lanyard for LA fitness, which I would only use if they paid me for the advertising. He was very patronizing and rude, and I unfortunately still see him there. I have another friend who is interested in joining, but Im discouraging him due to this interaction. The sales people are great until you join and have any issues,then they arent as interested in talking to you. I used to swim at the Brooklyn Center location as well until I noticed the pool was very cloudy, and was not being cleaned, and there were little bugs all over the shower near the pool. Disgusting! Hopefully they have resolved these issues by now. I happen to enjoy the zumba classes, so Im still a member, but I highly recommend any other location besides Brooklyn Center.

the place is nice, clean, and I would only go here to work out. BUT DO NOT SIGN UP FOR A MEMBERSHIP HERE. They are dishonest and sharks who just want commission and money in general. there was a Caucasian man who lied to my face so i would sign up with them, and a very rude African American who works here as well. go to a different LA fitness to sign up to get a better deal and service. Im giving you great advice to avoid rude people. just go here to work out. the point is, I know you go dont come to socialize with the coworkers but this was my first real gym membership and they ruined the experience by ripping me off, being extremely rude, and lying to my face. came back the next day to cancel my membership and even the guy who said he would process it didnt process the cancelation! I had to call AGAIN, spoke to him on the phone, and he hung up on me cause I wanted to go through with the cancelation. you just have to be stern with "people" like this. waste of my time. I give it 2 stars for its surprisingly clean state.
