I had a bad experience here and only brought my rating up to 3 stars because they were happy to do whatever it takes to attempt to fix it. Ive dyed my hair myself for years with no issues. I had never gotten my hair professionally dyed before, and asked for their recommendation on an all-over color in order to get my hair to a lighter blonde (im naturally medium blonde). The stylist insisted on a bleach and tone. Now, im not sure if she did it wrong, or i just didnt know what to expect, but it took about 3 hours and turned out yellow. Ive never had this problem with box dyes before. I asked them the next day (after i decided i couldnt live with it) to attempt to fix it or for a refund, and they re-dyed it for free. It still wasnt quite better, but what was worse was the damage it did to my hair. My hair started breaking off in the shower in the next couple days and i had to pin my too-short bangs back for months afterwards. Needless to say, i will only be using box dye from now on. Im happy they were willing to reconcile the issue, but disappointed in the quality of work/knowledge of the employees.

I found this salon by chance after I had tried to go and get a brow wax at one of the box salons. I couldnt get in there and I was in need for an event. I was able to get in at Tafoya. I liked the location. When it was time for my next haircut, I gave them a shot. Ive been seeing Alex for about three years, maybe longer. I really like this salon and I am super picky, both in what I want for my style and about what business I give my money to.

Ive been coming here for a few months now. My stylist is Alex. I have a very unique hairstyle and she gets it right every time. She does a great job. Other staff Ive been in contact with have been friendly, engaging, and genuine. I highly recommend Tafoya. Also, they sell Aveda products, which is huge for me because no one else in the area does.

I purchased a package deal at this salon and had a bad experience each time I went. They were unorganized with scheduling. The massage I received was very short and very bad. Hopefully they have changed their methods, getting a massage in the middle of a busy salon floor is not relaxing.

Have been going for a few years. The stylists are helpful in deciding what to do with my hair. Leg waxing and facial services are terrific. Price is comparable to other Aveda salons but they have specials going on all the time.

Had a great hair day after visiting! I had prevously went to a 5 star salon that compleatly messed up everything I wanted done and came here and they fixed it 100%!!! Compleatly made my day that they understood what I wanted done!
