Around the holidays I visted aafusion and asked for a mani and an express pedi before I got my hair colored and cut. Both nail services were very disappointing. The girl who did both wasnt able to do a simple tip on my nails and ended up getting paint on the skin of my toes. My "mani" ended up being a gel polish change. When I asked for a price break out for the services because I didnt receive a mani, I was told that they didnt have a break out and that the gel polish change was more then a mani and they increased my bill. Regarding the hair services, horrid is the only word I can use. I walked in blonde with a blue peek-a-boo. The stylist tried to bleach out the blue, after I asked her if a filler would work better, and fried my hair. I currently have about 2in in that area, compared to the almost 2ft on the rest of my head. The all over color I received wasnt close to what I wanted. I asked for dark brown and when I left it was light brown, at best. She also thinned out my hair without asking and didnt even cut off my split ends. I went home disappointed but willing to give it a shot. A week later my hair had almost completely faded which is when I called to speak to a manager. After 2 weeks of unanswered messages (because the manager is apparently never there) I was called back and told that the women who did my hair wasnt their employee and was just renting a chair. Because of this, they wouldnt be able to redo my hair, without recharging me, or give me a refund. Had I known they didnt back up the work from the stylist, I wont have seen her. All around awful experience and I have been sharing with as many as possible.

Had a Christmas party I needed a spray tan for so made my appointment well in advance. A couple days before the appointment I received a call asking if I could do the spray tan the day before as she had to go to a funeral and I explained that I was having other services done and it would not work to do this. So she asked if I would be willing to have another girl do it and I said, no problem! As I do understand these things happen. And I really didnt care who did it as long as it got done! So I showed up for the appointment and the receptionist tells me that Im not scheduled?! And the girl they were going to have do it is booked until 5- at which time I will be at a work event. All I got was a "sorry bout that". My Christmas party is now tomorrow and no spray tan! And nothing but a meek apology. Didnt even try and see if there was someone else that could do it or find me some place else I could get one ASAP! I mean, if you are a legit business you have a way to handle these things! I own my own business and there is NO WAY this would fly! Not to mention I drove 30 miles solely for this appointment.

I went to Aafusion Spa Salon several times now. I had two back facials, back wax and chest wax from Desire Dalrymple. The atmosphere at the spa is very cozy. The staff are professional and courteous. Desire Dalrymple does a wonderful job explaining the processes she uses. The back facials were wonderful and left me in a dreamy state. I had never had a back facial before this. I had also never had a wax done before. These procedures were not really painful during the process like I was expecting. Desire has a very good touch with everything she has done so far and I highly recommend her skill to anyone seeking to be pampered in any spa treatment. Desire is amazing!!!

Ive been everywhere from EQ life, Lite Spa to Spalon Montage and Aafusion is by far the best in the Twin Cities. HELLO! Chocolate covered strawberries, a plethra of choices of drinks from juice, Gateraide, Coffee etc and the most important, CHEESE & grapes! The waiting room with the fireplace is somewhere I would love to nap & their services are divine. Best pedicure! Spend a day here, youll want to after the first 2 minutes!

Everyone I interacted with at Aafusion was very warm and friendly. I would strongly recommend a massage with Karen. She was friendly and thorough. She asked questions about what I was looking for and after the massage explained what she had noticed during the massage. I left the massage feeling more relaxed than I have been in months.

I visited this salon and had Ming as my stylist. Right when you walk in you feel so welcome, warm, and comfortable. Great decor that is regal yet homey. Ming is a hair wizard and I am sooooooooo happy. The prices are average and well worth it. Ming even called me to make sure that I am comfortable styling my hair. This place is amazing!!!

Derrick is amazing. My appointments always take a couple hours (I have a crap ton of hair) and it seems to go by so quickly! I am very picky about who I let touch my hair and it is like an extreme sport to find someone great. I highly recommend Derrick!
