This past February my wife and I celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary by taking our family (4 children and spouses, ten grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild) to Belize for a 7 day vacation. Pique Travel helped us plan an amazing, fun filled week. As you can imagine, handling the arrangements for a group this size is not an easy task. Pique Travel did it flawlessly, allowing my wife and I to experience no stress, so we could simply enjoy our family and the adventure as it unfolded. One of our goals was to provide our grandchildren with an opportunity to experience an ancient culture. As it turned out, our time in the rain forest at the Lodge of Chaa Creek located in San Ignaico, along with tours to the Caracol Mayan ruins and the Actun Tunichil Muknai Cave, a Myan sacrifical site (Ranked #1 in the National Geographic book Sacred Places of a Lifetime) were the highlights of the vacation. We spent the last part of our vacation on Ambergris Caye at the Victoria House, a wonderful resort. This afforded an opportunity to snorkel on the second largest barrier reef in the world as well as some relaxing beach time. I highly recommend a vacation in Belize, and you cannot find a better travel planning partner than Pique Travel Design.

Pique Travel Design is awesome! They planned our 50th wedding anniversary celebration with a trip of a lifetime for our family of 22 to Belize! We spent 4 days in the Cayo District, the jungle of Belize. Chaa Creek provided an ideal "home base" to begin our exploration. The staff at Chaa Creek was extremely friendly and knew all by name after the first introduction! Our fun, attentive guides taught us Ancient Mayan history through living museums of Caracol Mayan Ruins and Actun Tunichil Muknal (ATM) cave. By swimming, climbing, and standing within inches of Maya artifacts and a skeleton, we could truly experience the Mayan history and culture! ATM was voted by our family as the best part of our trip. Next, we flew to Ambergris Caye to enjoy the beaches, snorkeling and sun! Accommodations and staff at Victoria House were amazing! Its a beautiful resort and just a quick jaunt on a golf cart or easy walk into town. It was a perfect vacation for three generations and all ages! It included warm Belizian hospitality, adventure, ancient culture, education, and quiet pool time! Everyone happy!

We contacted Pique to help us arrange our first trip back to Guatemala since we adopted our son from there, 9 years ago. We were hoping for a trip that would teach us more about our son’s birth country and its culture. The trip Pique planned for us went above any of our expectations. We explored 3 sets of Mayan ruins, had a Mayan Spiritual Guide perform an ancient ceremony for just our family, hiked a volcano, visited an island village where a women’s cooperative taught us how they dye cotton and weave it into amazing garments, and visited a peanut farm where they taught us how to make peanut butter, which we then ate on a tortilla with bananas and honey. The guides that Pique arranged for us treated us like family and were deeply knowledgeable on everything from ancient Mayan culture and history, to current economics and politics. Pique meticulously planned and executed our Guatemalan trip, which turned out to be a trip of a life time. We cannot thank them enough.

Pique planned a wonderful vacation for us to Belize this past year. Their attention to detail was outstanding. A few months before our vacation we received a very detailed, professional itinerary that not only was extremely presentable to family and friends, but also very informative. They did extensive research on the different options for us in Belize both in the jungle and along the coast. They presented their suggestions, and we immediately knew that this was going to be a trip of a lifetime. Pique was very helpful and made a point to cater the trip towards everyones interests. When we arrived in Belize it was very clear to see that all of the research and planning was going to pay off. Both resorts that we stayed at immediately greeted us with open arms and hospitality. I give Pique my highest recommendation and will definitely be using them in the future.

Phenomenal trip from start to finish! Our trip included stops in Zambia, Zimbabwe, and Cape Town, South Africa over 16 days. Everything ran smoothly as outlined in our customized travel itinerary - hotel check ins, transfers, in country flights, immigration & customs, and our offsite excursions. All of the travel/safari guides were knowledgable and super friendly to our unique group! The accommodations, food, and people at the resorts made our trip extra special - Pique Travel has obviously established great relationships with the people who were taking care of us during our stay. Words cannot describe how indebted I am to Pique Travel! My husband and I hired Pique Travel to help plan our honeymoon to England. We worked with Liz because she had extensive knowledge of Europe and England. Liz did an AMAZING job! Not only was she a delight to work with, but each of her bookings and recommendations were phenomenal. We truly experienced the trip of a lifetime thanks to Liz! My favorite thing was the trip itinerary they sent us before the trip. It included general travel information on England, daily itineraries and recommendations for each destination, and all of our tickets and travel vouchers. I used it everyday - it was very handy! My experience with Pique Travel has been first class. The thoroughness before we departed and during our trip was amazing. We traveled to Africa, with a spiral bound booklet prepared by Pique, as the guide for our two-week adventure. It explained each day with the specifics on what we were going to do, time for pick up, what to wear and even tipping suggestions.The choice for hotels, camps and apartments was spot on for our group. The camps were clean, spacious, the food was great, the staff was knowledgeable and ready to do whatever was needed to provide a unique experience. This was my first trip that was planned out with all the details taken care of so I could relax and enjoy every moment!!!

14 Day African Safari - Zimbabwe / South Africa: I have traveled the world, but never used a travel professional before. This trip we used Pique to plan all aspects of our 14 day adventure to Africa after a recommendation from a friend. Could not have been happier with the pre-trip plans with Kris Nosworthy, clear concise and informative. All logistics, and there were a lot of them, were executed by the various travel agencies flawlessly. Accommodations were first rate in Victoria Falls, Hwange Park, and Capetown, South Africa. We worked with Kris at Pique Travel to plan our 2 week adventure in Botswana and Zimbabwe. He was wonderful to work with--very responsive and knowledgeable. The places we stayed were exceptional. They far exceeded my expectations. The babysitters he hired to get us through airports, immigration, etc. were wonderful. That was a bit unexpected but very much appreciated. All in all, Kris planned a once-in-a-lifetime trip for us that Ill never forget. Ill definitely use Kris and Pique again for my travel needs.
