I have stayed at this hotel several times when I go to Grand Rapids to visit family. I have always had good experiences here, the rooms are clean and comfortable. Unfortunately I just had an extremely negative experience with the front desk staff today. I called to cancel my reservation and was told in a decidedly unfriendly tone that I would have to cancel online because I made the reservation online. When I commented that this seemed odd she very rudely told me "if you dont want to cancel online next time stop making reservations online and call the hotel directly". I have to admit that I was a bit taken aback by her abrupt and rude behavior, as i said, Ive stayed here before and have always had good experiences. While I am disappointed in this particular womans attitude I am not ready to stop staying at this hotel, I really do feel that it is the nicest please to stay in Grand Rapids. I hope next time I will have a better experience.

Property was great and so was the staff! The onsite restaurant was very good. The complimentary breakfast had hot and cold breakfast items. The fresh-baked muffins were perfectly baked. The pool area had a large hot tub, a cute wading pool with mini frog water slide, and a bigger pool with big water slide. There are three levels and there is an elevator. They were almost fully booked so we ended up in an extended stay apartment for the night. The room was very clean. Loved the oversized shower with dual shower heads! The kids actually begged to stay longer. :) Very clean. We will be back!

I have held several corporate events at Timberlake Lodge, anywhere from 250 to 100 guests. The service is always fantastic, the food is excellent, one of the few places that can serve perfectly cooked salmon on a buffet. The sleeping rooms are beautiful, clean and quiet. I have also held events at hotels on the Bloomington Strip near the Mall of America, Timberlake Lodge has blown them all out of the water with their service and the quality of food for about a quarter of the price. Do not hesitate to bring your business north!

Rooms are great! Clean and very spacious. Showers are huge, and other amenities are great too. Staff was nice, other than one woman who was completely rude...however Eden Prairie parents should be ashamed of themselves for letting their youth hockey kids be completely out of control the entire time I was there. What happened to being courteous to other people? Keeping track of where your kids are and what they are doing? Ruined an otherwise amazing hotel.

The facilities were newer and in good condition. The pre-teen boys we had with us enjoyed the pool and water slide. I thought the attached bar was overpriced, but had good service there. I didnt check out the restaurant menu. The provided breakfast was OK, though they seemed overwhelmed by the breakfast crowd, and ran out of plates. Location was fine, we were in town for a basketball tournament, and its a fairly small town, so getting around was easy.

We were just passing through Grand Rapids and picked this hotel on a whim, was pleasantly surprised! Rooms were clean, comfortable and affordable. The shower was wonderful, and I love that there is real glasses and cups in the rooms vs plastic ones. The restaurant was amazing. We didnt have our kids with us, but they would have loved the mini water park and pool. We wished we could have stayed another night. Definitely will stay again!

This hotel is a gem! It is very clean and the staff are very professional, helpful, and best of all - happy. I would go out of my way to stay here again. Even though it can be filled with waterpark guests (children), the staff makes sure the business traveler is respected as well. It is the best hotel for miles! Oh - and the food in the restaurant is fabulous - try the shrimp chutney dinner!

My husband and I stayed here in Sept on a motorbike trip . Its a hidden treasure of a hotel !!!! Beautiful rooms and staff are very helpful !!!! We ended up leaving our Ipad there and when we got home there was already a message that they had found it !!! They went to the trouble of sending it back to us which we are very grateful !!!!! I recommend this hotel to couples and families !!!!

The room was beautiful and the double shower, spectacular. The beds had plenty of pillows that were nice and plush and best of all super clean linens. They had plenty of room for storing your items and clean nice sized microwave and fridge. They breakfast area isa great size with a wonderful assortment of food choices for even the pickiest of eaters. I would absolutely stay here again!

Overall a nice, newer hotel but be careful when it comes to billing your credit card. Be sure to check your final bill and your credit card statement to make sure its accurate. Read what youre signing when checking in and if you dont agree with it dont sign it. The "free" breakfast is hot and thats about all the good I can say about it. Would have given negative stars if I could.

LOVE Timberlake Lodge. The staff is top notch. My specific reservation was done correctly in a snap. The desk staff knew of my requests when I arrived. Dinner in the restaurant was tasty, tasty, tasty and their wine recommendation was wonderful. EVERYTHING about the Timberlake Lodge is wonderful - I try to say YES to all meetings in the area so I can stay there!

This is our third year in a row to stay for a weekend at this hotel.......and we have gone out of our way to stay here for the last two years. This is a gem in a small Northern Minnesota town - the staff is first class, the rooms are great - especially the bathrooms and the restaurant is pretty good as well. Highly recommended.

Fantastic! Here for wedding reception & storm knocked out power. Staff was beyond wonderful in dealing w/ the situation & it did not hamper the festivities in the least. Gorgeous environment, good food, awesome staff. Cant thank you enough Timberlake Lodge for making sure the newlyweds & guests had a very special day!!!

Its in a hotel, but this is the best restaurant in Grand Rapids if you arent looking for ethnic food. There is always something interesting on the menu and the service is really good. Much better food than you expect from the typical hotel restaurant anywhere and that makes it a find in a small town like Grand Rapids.

We had a very nice stay at the Timerberlake Lodge. The staff was very helpful and even went above and beyond to help me with directions for a reunion we were going to. Our rooms were very clean, large and had everything we needed. We had a lot of fun at the water park and worked great for an 8, 5 and 3 year old.

Easily 5 stars. Wonderful staff. Great rooms. Clean. Huge breakfast not just a roll and juice like other places. I would not even try another place until Timberlake Lodge disappoints. They should build more of these around the country. I would invest in this place if I had a chance. A sure thing.

I stay here regularly for work. The room size is good. The bathrooms (especially the showers) are amazing. The rooms are well decorated and appointed. Flat pannel tvs. Dont miss out on the restaurant. The 17th Street Grill is so good. Havent had a bad meal yet. (bad service sometimes)
