Good sandwiches, plenty of filling, meats are moist and tender ... IF you can get them to give you what you ordered. The problem never lies with the person who takes the order originally, but lies with the preparers who cant seem to read the order slip. We have had problems with this NUMEROUS times, and right now, my husband is enroute back to get the sandwich that I ordered. We dont frequent this sandwich shop as often as we have in the past, due to this problem. June 18, 2005 ..... Today my husband went to get my free sandwich that was made wrong last week (we STILL like the sandwiches but are hard-pressed to get what we order), called to complain about the pickle juice soaking thru my sandwich, when I HATE pickles, and was told we could get another sandwich the next time we went in. So today was the day, and GUESS WHAT?? I always get a medium Hero, lettuce and tomatoes ONLY, and NO PICKLE . He brings home a medium Hero, no pickle (so that was good) but with lettuce, tomato, ONIONS and MAYO! WTH is the matter with these people?? Husband ran all the way back, thru construction, to talk to the manager. So sorry .... heres your sandwich. Well...we tried, but no more.

of all the Submarine sandwich places I have eaten at, this place "blows them out of the water!" I walked into Firehouse Subs as a skeptic but after eating a massive sub I found a new place to go for getting a great meal. The large sub will conquer your appetite in a most delightful way. I ordered a sub and just sat down and waited for my sandwich, when it was done I took it with me to McDonalds to eat there, because my girlfriend wanted to get a couple egg McMuffins, and I didnt want to eat junk food. So we were hanging out with all the old people at McDonalds and I unwrapped my sub from Firehouse Subs and started grubbing down. It was so good that the smell of the McDonalds food was like a joke. Im not going to elaborate on how good Firehouse Subs are, but if I like the food im for sure going to write a review, and let everyone know to put this on your list of places to try. As far as Submarine Sandwiches go, you would probably have to travel to the East Coast and go to a New York deli to get one better. Firehouse Subs rock! & I will definitely be going back there.

I dont often feel compelled to write reviews--especially negative ones. However, this location is extremely limiting for vegetarians (there is also no gluten free bread options). Their one veggie option is a meager, soggy, sandwich (basically two slices of bread, one slice of cheese, and like 3 finely chopped peppers/onions. I also ordered no mayo or mustard, and my sandwich came with both. The workers brought the wrong sandwiches to my and my parents table twice. And, as a vegetarian, its pretty unappetizing to find a small piece of meat on your plastic trays as you eat a vegetarian sandwhich. The layout of the restaurant is also too narrow and crowded. Overall, an experience full of incompetent, slow service and soggy food.

I love this place. Its better then Subway. Never been there until recently because I wanted to go see my old manger that I worked for. My friend comes here all the time and told me I had to try it. So I did, and now Im going to come all the time. Customer service is good and the manager is awesome. I got the beef and chedder barbecue and it is one of the best for sure. Fresh meat that you see in the deli at the grocery store.

I asked for a turkey ham and provolone. I got all the toppings I cant even eat the sandwich now thanks for screwing up my sandwich for the drive ins! By the way I never get a day off so this was a treat for my husband and i! Oh and the girl who rung us out didnt even ask if I wanted a drink or anything else thanks for the up sell I am sure your business will appreciate that.

I grew up in Florida where firehouse subs started and was so excited to see it finally came to Minnesota, I drove from st cloud to enjoy the delicious subs that I had missed so much. Trust me once youve had these subs subway just doesnt cut it anymore. Hopefully they will move up here to st cloud soon so I dont have to drive more than an hour to enjoy these awesome subs

Great Food! Ive been here a couple of times. Truth be told, my first time I was headed to the Chipotle next door when the line was out the door. I heard good things about Firehouse so I gave it a shot. I agree with the first review though, always takes a little longer than I expect.

I liked the food, was disappointed when I found out that the one sub I liked the most is only around for a short time. I find the service is poor to ok. They need to just step it up a bit in that department, at least the one I go to. Other than that I like their food.

I havent tried anything BUT the smokehouse sub! Price is higher than at Subway but worth it!! Also they have one of those soda machines that serves ANY flavor of pop imaginable as well as an AMAZING hot sauce collection - YUM!!

The best service, tons of meat on all the subs... best firehouse in the metro. .. the staff is amazing and always remember me and my mom as we go there quite often... maplewood firehouse is the best...

Too many kids working the counter who dont seem to quite " get it" when it comes to customer service. Would be nice to see an adult on staff. But, it wont stop me from going back! Nice subs, guys!
