I love the subs, but have run into issues at this location multiple times. A few months ago, I tried to call ahead and order, to avoid the long wait times... I called around 8:20pm, waited on hold for over 10 minutes, finally spoke with someone who rudely said they were closing soon, but I promised to be there by 9pm, which is when they supposedly close. When I got there at 8:45pm, the doors were locked. Since Id already paid over the phone, I stood and waited. When they finally let me in, the subs werent done yet and they acted like it was a huge hassle to make them. After all of that, the subs were made incorrectly. Tonight, I decided to go back (not sure what I was thinking), so again I tried to order ahead. When I called at 8:25pm, no one answered, so I drove straight to the store. When I arrived at 8:35pm, doors were locked. I waited until someone came to the door, and they told me that they start shutting down the line at 8:30pm I guess I thought being open until 9pm meant they were open until 9pm. Again, I really like Firehouse Subs, but I dont think Ill be returning to this location.

I usually never post negative reviews because sometimes i analyze and think maybe im the one whos being impatient or not being understanding. But this was the worst service i have ever experienced in a long time. No one was interacting with customers in line. The cashier was annoyed and would walk away after ringing up each customer. Was snobby rude and not polite and would walk off and take their time coming back and helping people out. No one looked like they wanted to be working and the customer service was incredibly rude. Ive been to a few other locations where the hospitality was a ton better. If you hate your job and dont like what you do find a better job that fits you. But when your in this line of business. Show some enthusiasm it was clear that everyone inside was uncomfortable because of this. The manager or owner needs to evaluate this location. These workers are incredibly unfriendly, rude to the paying customers. I witnessed other customers disgusted with the service here. Go to the edina or woodbury location instead. Avoid the snelling location.

I love firehouse subs! I like the concept, the food, I even opened a firehouse. But there are some major problems with alot of the stores. I have been to this location now 3 times. And this location can not get it right. I ordered my food over the phone 15 minutes before my arrival (Amount of time it takes to get there from my work) and this is the second time that they didnt even start my sandwiches before my arrival. I dont call in my orders to sit and wait for them, I call them in expecting them to be ready or close to ready upon arrival. I walk into the store, its empty 2 customers waiting for sandwiches and 6 employees by my count. And yet my sandwiches only got started after I arrived and paid for them (Which I know is not standard practice) Store looks clean, and presentation is there, but the level of customer service is poor, employees are slightly rude. Which is hard to believe as this is such a great brand.

My company uses foodsby to mass order food from a variety of locations. Firehouse subs was one of those restaurants that was available today (11/15/2016). I ordered their veggie sandwich; which is advertised as one of their hot subs. Since we order a bunch of sandwiches from them and they are delivered I wasnt expecting my sandwich to be super hot, but I was expecting to receive a warm sandwich. However it wasnt even warm. It tasted like they made it two days ago, stuck it in a fridge, and then sent it to me. The bread was soggy and stale, the veggies were not appetizing, and the cheese was not even melted. Like I stated before I wasnt expecting to receive the sandwich piping hot, but I was expecting for it to at least look like it had been cooked fairly recently (or at all). Definitely a waste of money.

Wed heard really good things about their food so went to give it a try. The subs were really good, especially the NY Steamer, but the service and atmosphere were terrible! I dont know if it was just a bad day or what but Im not going back to find out! I asked the cashier what her favorites were there since Id never been there before and she seemed really annoyed, nobody smiled or seemed happy and they didnt give my son a fire hat with his crappy grilled cheese. Also you just get a 12oz cup for pop or artificial juice with a kids meal so theres nothing healthy for kids to drink with their meal. Also, there are only like 2 tables for 4 people, the rest are all 2 person tables so you have to move tables and chairs around if youre there with your family.

First off, you need some music playing in this place. Awkward silence does not put me in the mood to wait in a line (with no other people) while you finish up the 5 customers sandwiches that came in before me. Surprisingly I was greeted immediately only to be ignored for another 6 minutes before the manager fumbled over and nervously and apologetically took my order. Asked me multiple times if my girlfriend or I wanted a combo, when I was very clear right off the bat that I didnt. When I received my sub 10 minutes later it was greasy, the bun was cold and chewy and the amount of mayo slathered on it inspired a bout of extreme nausea afterward. Overall my experience was terrible and never will I return.

Food was okay, but the service was terrible. Not only did everything happen at a snails pace, but they screwed two of the three subs up. Were annoyed that I asked for a small container with the missed condiment, and even asked to see the receipt which clearly showed that it should have been on there. Plus the ambience in there is terrible, could use some music. Best part is all the paid fake reviews by the "local guides" giving this place a 5 star rating. Obviously they know that they are regularly getting bad reviews and are paying someone to pump up there ratings.

I had no idea there were 5 or 6 other people in line ahead of me as they had sat down to wait. I watched them slowly get their orders, and I do mean slowly. I checked the time when I arrived and when I finally got my food 28 minutes had passed. Unbelievable. The deal breaker for me was that the staff was not friendly and walked around without a care in the world. Youd never know it was the lunch hour rush by their pace. Reminded me of Flash from Zootopia stamping the paper. The food was good (love Firehouse subs), but not worth the wait.

You would think in a place with three customers (two already eating) it wouldnt take more than 10 minutes to make two subs....with 3 employees. Both sandwiches were super soggy. My daughter ate hers in the car, I ate mine when I got home, which is only 5 minutes away. If I wasnt so hungry I would have just thrown mine away. Not to mention staff not being very friendly and one girl working being completely rude and condescending to another employee. Bad vibes, bad sandwiches. Wont be back :(
