Around 6:20 p.m. on November 16 2015, I called All Around to see if I can get help obtaining estimates on siding, foundation issues, insulation, and a possible interior remodel because I’m a new homeowner. However, I got a very unexpected response. Instead of providing information on the company’s estimation policy, I got a 10 minute lecture on how the company isn’t made up of handymen from the “ol’ days” who will just “slap a patch on a crack” or “put bricks under the house to keep it from falling.” Also, the employee mentioned being inundated by phone calls every day from people wanting free advice and that they don’t have time for that kind of business. The company is apparently SO busy that the man said “you are lucky we even picked up the phone.” He also wished me luck finding help from other places because most companies won’t return phone calls or emails. The only good advice was that I need to go to a structural engineer for my foundation problems. Then the employee stressed, “plans from the structural engineer will cost money and won’t be free.” Thanks All Around for automatically assuming that I was a cheap, uneducated woman looking for free patch work. I am the new generation of homeowners and I won’t be shy about sharing my experience with your company to my other new homeowner friends.

Edit: Our window issue was fixed. Thanks All Around for a great job and getting it addressed! It turns out that it was only one window and they had to adjust the lock in order for us to get it to seal properly. Our other project, our kitchen, turned out great and we had no issues with it. Our All Around rep, Kyle, did a great job of communicating and following up whenever we had questions with the project or updates. Thanks again! Original review: Initially, for the most part, this company had been a good choice for us. However, with our new windows being approximately 8 months old, we have seen massive air leakage happening, even more so than our old windows, which were basically rotted out. We paid a good bit of money for these, and were assured of the quality of them by the All-around rep. We were concerned that the leader of the installation team was quite young, but he seemed to know what he was doing. Now we discover that our windows are leaking badly, and are not sure why that is. For now, this is my review. Will be reaching out to them in the next day or so and will update my review based on the outcome of our inquiry.

AllAround did our roof and resided the front of our house. We updated the front of our house with "hardy board" siding, shakes, rock and board and batten. I could not be happier the way everything turned out, absolutely awesome job. As for working with AllAround, they were great as well, great communication, not pushy, never pressed us, and were content in waiting for insurance payment to be paid. Both my roof and siding were subbed out. Both subs were great, very professional, nice, and accommodating. They cleaned up my yard better than it was before they started and swept my driveway every evening when the were finished with work. Best thing is the company is its local! Not a storm chaser, I have no doubt if I had to call them in 5 years from now with a problem they would be here to stand behind there work. Lastly, this was approximately a 60/40 split between insurance work and paid upgrades. There pricing for the upgraded work (above what insurance paid) was very fair. I would not hesitate to use them again or refer them to a friend.

We had a flood in our basement after all the rain last spring. After the clean-up was completed, Jesse Smith from All Around came in and bid the reconstruction job. I attempted to get a bid from a couple of other contractors, but they never showed up. Jesse not only showed up at the scheduled time, he was also very professional and personable, explaining what work needed to be done and the time frame it would take his company to complete the job. We accepted his bid. He then sent a team in to do the job and even coordinated subcontractor work, permits, etc. They were professional, prompt, polite, friendly and showed up every day until the job was done and the results are fabulous. They even worked directly with our insurance company to make sure everything done was covered and there were no surprises after the fact. They were so great to work with, we are also hiring them for work that needs to be done at an office building we own. I highly recommend this contractor!

I called them to give me an estimate on my siding project. They were responsive, prompt, and performed what seemed to be a thorough analysis of the impending job and my needs as the homeowner. Said theyd be compiling an estimate and getting back to me the next week. Then.. I never heard back. No callback to finalize the estimate, no email, nothing. Silence. Well, this came to the attention of CEO Charles Thayer, and he promptly called me back. We had a good discussion, and came to an understanding of why the snafu occurred. Long story short, I ended up not going with All Around, but because of the conscientiousness, professionalism, and passion exhibited by Charles, Ive amended this review and Id generally feel confident in my choice were I a homeowner in need of a reliable contractor. Cant go 4 or 5 stars since I lost the opportunity to directly work with them, but I can safely say theyre a company that stands apart from most.

I just wanted to let my experience speak volumes for anyone else out there thats "thinking about it" with so many options out there, I found that going with All Around was the best choice. They had prompt answering of their phones right away, quick to answer any and all questions without interrupting me. They were beyond professional and got me an estimate quicker than I anticipated! Now I did receive a few other quotes All Around was right in the middle they werent the cheapest but by far were not the most expensive either! Pound for pound, over all they had the best and seamless experience. My project will be in the near future but its great to know that All Around will be there every step of the way!!!

Im a REALTOR® so I use contractors and handymen quite a bit. All Around is always a call or email away and can get to a property in a timely manner, which is really important in real estate transations. I have reccomended them to sellers who need to fix an issue either due to inspection requests or prior to going on the market. And Ive asked them to come along with me to 2nd showings with buyers whod like to get an idea of how much a project with cost on a perspective house. Both my buyers and sellers have been very happy with the service they provided and theyll certainly be my go-to contractors when Im have needs for my own home! Ive used All Around several times now. I just had a roof replaced on a rental house and Jake and team did a wonderful job as usual. Best warranty around, did exactly what was promised with no drama or upcharges. They gave a complete line item bid with exactly what would be done and didnt alter it (they even did extra). They got the job done exactly as promised with details right down to when the dumpster would arrive, which side of driveway to place it, permit process, everything. The bids I got from other companies were nowhere near the comprehensive detail that All Around provided--and delivered. Thanks again!
