I am writing in regards of minnesota remodeling solutions. I requested they come out to quote a simple gable to cover our front entry. The first two of four (total) representave sent to my house left the company prior to completing the quote process. When calling the company to discuss what was going on they agreed that 3 sales guys being sent to my house with quotes was rediculas and there where some problems but promised they where going to make it right by sending another guy and where giving me a discounted price. I agreed and they sent another person to write out the estimate. They then called me back to get half the money and sign the contract, which I did. After signing the estamite and giving them half the money the issues began again. I called a number of times and no calls back. Finally i was able to get ahold of someone 3 weeks later. They told me I had two choices "one cancel or get a new quote because they priced it to low". Upset i went on to say that this was something they should have addressed 3 weeks ago when they took my money. They agreed to do it at what they said was cost and sent out there manager to look at the job. He agreed that this was completely wrong on there part and where going to eat it and take care of it. Things seemed to be turning around so i thought all was good. A cement contractor came out and I recieved a call saying they where going to start the job tomorrow. but only a few hours later i recieved another call saying there was a problem at the city. I called the city and found out the had just requested the permit that day and it takes 5-10 days (completly normal). I spoke with remolding solutions and they assured me all was going to be ok. 6 days passed and i called the city and they said they had been trying to get ahold of the company by phone and e-mail for a few days and nothing. I then called the manager again and couldnt get ahold of anyone. I then recieved a letter and check in the mail saying they where cancelling my job. Upset, I continued to call and when speaking with the manager he said this was just a precaustionary measure and everything was still a go. Again time passed and the owner called me to let me know that he would not do the job. I even offered to pay an extra $500 to cover any extra costs. Then again nothing just the run around. I have a number of voicemails of promises made by this company at eating the cost and so on and not only was that not kept but they walked away with out a care. This is NOT an A+ Company and they do not honor quotes from their own sales people even after they take a deposit. The dragged us along for over a month including submitting illegible plans to the city just to avoid honoring a quote.

They were very easy to work with. They were very polite and attentive to our wants and needs. They were very patient with us as they provided skillful and knowledagable answers to our questions. The various jobs were efficiently performed on time by their dedicated and craftsman like team. The materials were high quality and the workmanship was excellent. We would highly recommend them to others.

Minnesota Solutions keeps calling me! Ive said no to them coming out to my home for a "free" quote until I was blue in the face...and now I just hang up on them every time they call. If this is another company claiming to be Minnesota Solutions and trying to scam I will take this down
