I hated it. Everything about this place is AWFUL. I was a regular costumer to Sonya ? I cant really even recall her name. She gave me poor services. I told her i was transitioning to go natural and she she gave me no advice on what to do. The final time I came to her ( i went to her three times before ) , i schedualed my appointment but she didnt even begin to do my hair till a hour and a half later. She had someone to braid my hair, whom braided very tightly. Im having breakage on my edges because of it. I complained that it was hurting but she did not stop. Sonya told me it was because of my natural hair, but when i looked around, the women who was braiding my hair was hurting everyone else in the salon that she touched! Sonya said that she would no do my hair unless i get a perm. i refuse to do that. so i refuse to go back to her. i should have never paid her full price !

The barber James, is a weak barber. I asked for a taper, lining and a trim on my afro and he wasnt confident enough to cut my fro. He asked me do i want the front line of my lining to be lined up, which always needs to be lined up. and he messed up my taper. he gave me a high ass taper fro people are making front of me. plus on top of that he tries to rush through your cut because he does walk ins. the Ladies i dont know about them.

I think this place has moved further west on Lake Street. I get my haircut there and its awesome. They place classic rnb so the vibe is very chill. The barbers are really detail oriented and hook up super tight fades for around $20. This place is unisex and they hooked me up!
