The service here was absolutely top notch. I worked with John and Eric on a car key issue that was causing a consistent headache. Originally recommended by Triple A (which if youre a member you get 10% off your services!!), I was stressed after a long day of car troubles and felt desperate to get them fixed fast. This shop closes at 5 PM, like most auto body shops, and I couldnt get there until 4:45 PM from work during rush hour. They were happy to work with me on this! I was greeted with a smile and someone saying, "we were expecting you!" rather than someone who was ready to get home after a busy Monday. While we thought the original issue was something different, 45 minutes later, John came to me with the solution that I had been looking for for over a month. He stayed an HOUR late (6 PM) to help me and he was informative the entire time. I would recommend to anyone needing a locksmith and great customer service to boot. Its a convenient location on Excelsior in SLP and they have a private parking lot!

They are not joking around with their name, when they say Rapid they mean it. I found out we had a security issue with a missing key at 9:50 am this morning. After looking as some sketchy national chain webpages I found rapid key on google and called them at 10:05 and by 10:45 our locks were changed and I had 6 new keys in my hand. Heck, Its not even 11:00 yet and I was so impressed by the speed and ease I had to sit right down and write this review. Bonus, the keys actually work great and smoothly. Nothing is catching like the keys i had made for the door in the past. Ill definitely be skipping that hardware store next time i need keys made, Im going to head straight to rapid key instead. Thank you Eric! You made a stressful situation painless and easy!

Your son Eric is quality people!! AAA put me in touch with him on a Sunday night and he navigated my situation despite my frustration and inconvenience. He was straight with the info about cost and time needed for the job, specifying the difference in pricing between Sunday night service and Monday service--very friendly and I love the fact that you guys are so familiar with how the AAA piece works. If I could make one suggestion it would be not to rely so heavily on google for directions, Eric had to drive way out of the way before arriving. Still was within the time window, I am a super delighted customer!!!

Friday 6/9/17 and had the luxury of meeting Eric. Although, I went thru AAA and was having a bad experience with their business. Eric came right in and made up for everything. He not only cut the keys in less than 20 mins after having to search through a drawer of keys, he also jump started the car for me and was able to promote AAA and advised me on making the best choice to go with an upgrade. Although I do not plan to renew my services thru AAA I will definitely use Rapid Key Recovery in the future.

The ignition lock cylinder in my husbands car was broken leaving him without a car so I contacted Rapid Key Recovery based on their Google reviews and they did not disappoint. Eric, the technician was great to work with, he fully explained the repair process to us in a way that was easy to understand. He was able to rebuild the ignition lock cylinder and had it reinstalled same day even though it was late on a Friday. I will not hesitate to recommend Rapid Key Recovery to friends and family!

I had been unable to locate my keys in my home and needed my car unlocked to see if they were in the trunk. They arrived within an hour as estimated. The car was unlocked quickly. Unfortunately my keys werent in the car but he was able to make a key on site within 10 minutes! I had been told by the dealer that a key would take 2-3 business days and I would have had to tow the car to the dealership. Thank you so much for your prompt and friendly service!

In an industry where you dont know if youre going to be taken advantage of, Rapid Key serviced our locksmith needs with professionalism and at a fair price for the situation (chip keys in cars are what they are). My Lexus key and fob was falling apart, so I bought a cheap shell and key replacement online. I moved my internals to the new shell and brought the key over to Rapid Key to have it cut. I cannot praise these guys highly enough. I was stupid enough to put the wrong key into my ignition. The dealer said Id need to tow it, get the ignition replaced and the cost would start at $1,000. Rapid Key took all of three minutes to get it out, and charged me $100. Worth every single penny.

This shop was great. I needed a spare key made for my car. They didnt have it in stock but were able to order it for the next day. They fit me in on time and were much faster than expected, in less than half the time the auto dealers quoted me. Will use again for any key or lock needs!

Had a key for our 2013 Ford Focus cut and programmed for $75 (I provided the key). They also put a battery in my other car key so I left with two fully functional keys. :D Its easy to find, they are courteous and fast, and the waiting area is pleasant. Highly recommend.
